Nashua Elks Crusaders Annual Football and Spirit Banquets
The 2009 NEC season is behind us and in recognition of our programs' success we will again be holding our annual banquets! Tuesday January 12, 2010 - 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade Football Teams AND Mitey Mite, Division 10 & Division 11 Spirit Teams Tuesday January 19, 2010 - 6th Grade & Middle School Football Teams AND Division 12 & Division 15 Spirit Teams All rostered participants and coaches get in free on the night of their scheduled banquet. The cost for all other attendees is $12.50 per person payable at the door. Banquets will be held at the Elks Club - 120 Daniel Webster Highway, So. Nashua, NH. Doors open at 5:45PM and dinner will be served promptly at 6:30PM - awards and presentations immediately following dinner. We will be having a spaghetti & meatball dinner! 2010 Elections & By-Law Change Meeting!
2010 BY-LAW CHANGES &ELECTION MEETINGSOn Sunday, January 24, 2010 we will be holding our Annual By-Law Change meeting and our Board Election meeting at the Nashua Public Library Theater – starting promptly at 1:00pm.BY-LAWS Any proposed By-Law Changes need to be submitted in writing to our Secretary, David Johnson and can be emailed to djohnson0113@yahoo.com. Any parent (member) can propose a change to our By-Laws. All proposed changes need to be received by David prior to January 15th. (Please review our current By-Laws and submit your proposed change, complete with section and article # the way it should read. Any proposal that is submitted in any other format may not be accepted. All appropriately submitted/written proposals will be discussed and voted on by all members in attendace of the by-law meeting and a majority vote will stand.) ELECTIONS The following positions need to be filled for the 2010 season for a 2 year term: Vice President Secretary Football Coordinator Assistant Spirit Coordinator Spirit Registrar Assistant Equipment Officer Fundraising Coordinator * Before becoming an elected Board member, an individual must be a member of the association for a minimum of one (1) year. Nominations can be made any time between now and the day of elections and will be posted on the website. Any member can make a Board of Directors nomination. Nominations can be sent again to Dave Johnson at djohnson0113@yahoo.com. There are seven positions up for re-election…Please come out and exercise your right to vote – This is YOUR organization!!! HAVE A VOICE!!! About the Nashua Crusaders
The Nashua Crusaders Football and Spirit teams are affiliated with the American Youth Football and Spirit program. The Nashua Crusaders maintain football and spirit teams in five divisions - Mighty Mites, Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Junior Midget and Midget. We are a non-profit organization administrated by a volunteer board of directors and funded by the generous support of community and local business donations. |
