FOOTBALL EQUIPMENT HANDOUTS Let’s get ready for our 2009 Season!!! WHEN: Wednesday, July 15th or Wednesday, July 29th, 2009 WHERE: Pennichuck Middle School (at the trailers on the upper hill) TIME: MIDDLE SCHOOL – 6:00 pm 6TH GRADE – 6:30 pm 5TH GRADE – 7:00 pm 4TH GRADE – 7:30 pm 3RD GRADE – 8:00 pm *If there are siblings on different teams, please feel free to bring both at the same time. NOTE: The Nashua Elks Crusaders do NOT provide the following - each participant is required to purchase the following on their own: 1. Black Socks for game Day 2. Athletic Supporter (Cup) 3. Practice Jersey (can be any color) 4. Cleats (Football - no METAL is allowed!!) *Players MUST be present to be fitted for all their equipment! **Please remember that ALL PAPERWORK is due by July 15th!!! Please bring any outstanding paperwork with you. If your registration fee and equipment deposit is not paid in full, you will not be able to pick up your equipment. Paperwork Reminder!
Our 2009 season is quickly approaching! We want to remind everyone of the July 15th deadline for ALL paperwork!!! It is very important we get all paperwork turned in prior to the 15th...our Registrars need to get it all in order prior to the first day of practice. **WE NEED TWO COPIES OF EACH PARTICIPANTS FINAL REPORT CARD THAT THEY GET IN JUNE!!!! Please be aware that if you are missing a physical, medical release or birth certificate, your child CAN NOT take the field until it is in!!!! That is a STATE RULE - not ours...and we DO ENFORCE IT!! FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE!
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE....MONDAY 8/3/09!!!! Our 2009 Season officially starts on Monday, August 3rd, 2009!! All participants should arrive at Pennichuck Middle School fields by 5:30 (5:45 the LATEST) to find their team and get settled. FOOTBALL: All football players should wear SHORTS, T-SHIRT, CLEATS AND HELMET ONLY FOR THE FIRST WEEK OF PRACTICE for conditioning. Full equipment starts on the second week. All football players should try on all their equipment and if anything doesn't fit, bring it back during that first week of practice and come up to the trailer BEFORE practice starts to replace it. SPIRIT: All cheerleaders should wear SHORTS, T-SHIRT AND SNEAKERS, have their hair tied back without any clips and have no earrings in. ALL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD BRING PLENTY OF WATER WITH THEM EVERY NIGHT!!!! If you have any questions, please go to the Board of Directors section and feel free to email any one of us! PARKING AT PENNICHUCK
Each year, parking at the practice field at Pennichuck Middle School is an issue....especially the first few weeks of practice. Please be advised, you MUST park in designated parking spaces ONLY!! You MAY NOT park in posted no parking zones which includes the circle by the tennis courts...you WILL BE TICKETED!! The Nashua Police Department does come and ticket on a nightly basis!! Also, parking at the top of the hill where the trailers are is restricted to vehicles with handicapped plates, Coaches and Board of Directors only. Such designees will have visible parking passes hanging in their vehicles. If you do not have a parking pass...please do not go up the dirt road...you can drop your player off at the loop and then go park your car. We MUST limit parking up there for safety reasons! The dirt road leading to the upper field should be considered a No Parking Zone - we must keep it clear! Please park in designated spots in the Pennichuck Middle School parking lot and walk through the fields to the upper hill...this walk is actually perfect for the football players to get their muscles warmed up before they start practicing. NASHUA ELKS CRUSADERS FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING 2009 REGISTRATIONWe are currently still accepting registrations for both Football & Spirit - all levels. *For questions regarding Football registration, contact Tracey Brackett at 438-6250 or via email at tlhlane@yahoo.com. *For questions regarding Spirit registration, contact Chuck Magras at 891-8361 or via email at charles.magras@comcast.net. COST: $150.00 for the first participant, $70.00 for each additional participant in the same family, plus a $40.00 Uniform Deposit per participant - payment in full is due the night of registration in order to be placed on a roster. WHO: Children Ages 7 to 14 (as of July 31, 2009) in the Nashua South High School Boundaries ****SEE TEAM DESCRIPTIONS BELOW. ****Please go tothe HANDOUTS section of this website for all information and forms necessary for registration. Along with these forms, a signed, legible copy of the participants’ Birth Certificate is required (if you participated last year, we have it). All participants are required to pre-register at www.nhyfsc.org/registration (IMPORTANT NOTICE: Using the pre-registration system DOES NOT guarantee your child a position on any team roster. Each team can have a maximum of 36 football participants and 36 spirit participants on a roster. Using the pre-registration system greatly assists our association in preparing for the actual registration process and managing team rosters. The Nashua Crusaders Football and Spirit teams are affiliated with the American Youth Football and Spirit program. The Nashua Crusaders maintain football and spirit teams in five divisions - Mighty Mites, Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Junior Midget and Midget.
