| HISTORY AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE ROCKETS ORGANIZATION |
The North Alabama Rockets Softball Organization was founded 1998. It hails as one of the oldest, largest and most successful travel organizations around. The goals were simple "Become the premier fast pitch organization in Alabama" and "Provide the best possible instruction and infrastructure for playing competetive softball to insure the players an opportunity to play and be leaders in High School and College". Many players, coaches and parents are responsible for our accomplishments. We look forward to many, many more years of continued success.
The following are Colleges where former Rockets are now playing: Auburn, UAH, UAB, Ashland University, Jefferson State Community College, Wallace-Hanceville Community College, Calhoun Community College, Motlow State Community College, Martin Methodist.

ROCKETS CELEBRATE IN FINE FASHION!
The North Alabama Rockets held our Fall celebration banquet on Oct. 4, 2008. We got all dressed up for this special night. We recognized and introduced our teams and coaches. We also recognized our accomplishments for 2008. UAB Head Softball Coach Marla Townsend was kind enough to come and be our guest speaker for the night(great job Coach T). We had great food, fun, and a live band(thanks Paul!)....and a special song written for our 97 team by Carlos Henshaw. The Rockets 97 also received their World Series Championship Rings and other gifts. It was truly a night to remember.
