CONGRATULATIONS TO TOM DEGNAN Congratulations goes out to Tom Degnan, the “Voice of the Renegades”, who was the recipient of the 2009 NEFL Service Award. This award goes out to those who help improve and advance the league going above and beyond what is expected. It is well deserved for all his years of service in promoting his team and league. This past season Tom created and operated the popular neflscores.com website with real time score updates from across the entire league. Tom has also been the PA announcer for the Renegades for many years along with generating website graphics and press releases. Congratulations from all your Renegade Family Tom!
SEASON COMES TO AND END The Renegades 10th season and playoff hopes ended Saturday night in Connecticut. The shorthanded Gades were not able to keep pace with the number one playoff seed and 2009 championship runner-up Bearcats. Although the rebuilding season was disappointment in terms of wins and losses, the Gades can take pride in how they fought through the season in Renegade fashion and earning a playoff spot. The Renegades have definitely found a tough group of players to build on for 2011. The Renegades would like to thank all the players, coaches and fans for all your help and support in 2010 and over the past 10 Renegade seasons. Special thanks goes to our PA announcer Tom Degnan, the Hardy family film crew, Matt Dumican and the chain gang, Marie Cowles and the Medway School Administration and all those that helped out along the way. Keep checking back to the site for announcements of all-stars, awards and the banquet.

In an unfortunate situation for all involved the New England Hawks were not able to gather enough players to field a team last week in Amesbury, MA. As a result, the Renegades received a 6-0 forfeit win. With the Hawks being 0-3 in 2010 this will not affect any teams standings.
