As a tournament director myself, I know that the negative comments are quick to rush in and most of the positives are rarely communicated. I wanted to make sure you heard the positives from our team! Our team had a fabulous weekend at the Falls Classic Tournament! (And, no, we didn't win the championship - we didn't even make it to the championship game!)
But we won something even greater - an incredibly memorable weekend with our children - and some of the best friends we will ever know. Our Mite team won only 2 games in our league this year and lost every other tournament game we played. As parents we wiped a lot of tears and soothed quite a few bruised feelings this season.
We barely recognized the kids that took the ice at Hyde Park - we won three games that weekend - absolutely unbelievable!
Thank you for all the hard work you do to provide this opportunity to the children who play the sport we all love. Thanks to you and the Falls Classic staff, 11 kids from Pennsylvania finally found out what a "winning streak" feels like!
My family is already looking forward to coming again next year! |

Bob, just wanted to drop you a note like I did last year to give you some feedback on our overall tournament experience.
Kudos to you and your team. We brought 3 Elyria teams this year from Ohio and all 3 teams had a great time.
Finally your team groupings were absolutely spot on. Between my Pee Wees and Mites out of 6 games, we had 5 1-goal games, and the 6th game was not a blow out. All of the teams were really matched up well. You never care about losing to a team that you are evenly matched against, and even though we lost my kids had a great time.
Thanks for everything, we will be back again next year for our 4th consecutive year.
Best Regards,
Elyria, Ohio

Bob,
I'd like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Nepean Raiders to thank you personally and all of the people who help you coordinate your tournaments! What a great time our kids had, not to mention our parents! No one can stop talking about what a fantastastic time we had! Here's hoping we'll see you next year ... warm up that karaoke machine!

Bob,
Just wanted to say....WOW!
Never had I, or the other families or coaches, gone through such a wide variety of emotions.
To come back and tie 2-2 the first game in less than a minute, then hang on to our lead the second game, then dominate the third one was truly magnificent. And finally, the heart wrenching final…being down by 2, then tie, then go down again, then tie, then win in 6 OT’s belongs on ESPN Classics.
I didn't have to worry about falling asleep on the way home...or for the rest of the week for that matter. We are all still on a Hockey High!
It has made a lasting impression on these skaters that I am sure they will carry through the rest of their lives!

Dear Bob Harrington and Staff:
Thank you so much for hosting us in your wonderful tournament. You had such a friendly and helpful staff that kept things running so nicely. For many of our Mite families, this was their first AWAY tournament. I can't tell you how impressed our hockey families were with everything. So many of our Mite families complimented your tournament, meeting other great teams & parents, quality family time at the Falls - just a simply fantastic time.
Congrats on another sucessful tournament. We look forward to coming up again next year!

Dear Robert,
Just a short letter of appreciation for all your hard work in facilitating such an incredibly well organized tournament. The registration process, your tournament guides, your maps and hotel recommendations were all superb. And the hockey and officiating could not have been better at the Minor Peewee Select level.
Our players and parents all extend an enormous THANK YOU to you and your team.
Our George Bell Hockey Association has participated in your tournament in the past and, I can assure you, we will be back again.
Thanks,
George Bell Minor Peewee Titans |

| We attended this tournament last year and it is by far one of the best tournament we have ever participated in. I would highly recommend it. Especially if your sick and tired of attending tournament where your team was misplaced. CUDO'S to North American Hockey. These guys really know what they are doing!!!!! |
