NORTHAMPTON ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
IN HOUSE BOYS T-BALL RULES

1: ELIGIBILITY
    a: Any child that reaches the age of 6 years old before May 1st of the new season will be eligible to play IN HOUSE T-BALL.
    b: Any child that reaches the age of 8 years old before May 1st of the new season must move up to IN HOUSE BIDDIES.
    c: A child that is 7 years of age and turns 8 years of age before May 1st of the new season will have a special try out with the commissioner and the assistant of the IN HOUSE BIDDIE league. Ther decision to allow a particular child of the age of 7 years either to play or not at IN HOUSE BIDDIES will stand. Their decision is final.

2: GOALS FOR THIS LEAGUE
    a: The goal of this league is to introduce the game of baseball, teach the basic skills of throwing, catching a baseball, and the proper technique or hitting. Remember that we have children aged 6 and 7. Work with them on basics to prepare them for the next level of play.

PLAYING RULES
1: GAMES BEING PLAYED
    a: All games will be played on Sunday afternoons, with a start time of 1:00 and must be over by 3:00 p.m.

2: PLAYERS
    a: All players will play the field, NO ONE SITS OUT. Try and put 4 infielders and a player behind the adult pitching, set the rest of the players in the outfield in an arch from left to right fields.
    b: Coaches or an assistant will be the catcher. NO PLAYER will be permitted behind home plate to catch.

3: BATTING
    a: All players must bat. Coaches will pitch to the players a maximum of 10 pitches. After 10 pitches are thrown and the player does not hit the ball, you must set up the hitting tee for that player.
    b: There will be no strikes or balls called.
    c: There will be no outs in this league.
    d: After all players bat, the two teams will switch positions from fielding to batting.

4: BASE RUNNERS
    a: There will be NO OUTS in this league. All players who reach the bases will remain on base until the entire line up bats.
    b: There will be no stealing, the base runner will advance only after the player batting hits the ball, either from a pitch by the coach or off of the tee.
