Tractors are all back,  bill was paid.

 

Zero turn has a tire off the rim

 

 

 

FUNDRAISING:

 

  • Need to decide on Vendor to use for Football shirt order
  • Lottery was complete and returned a profit to the NAA
  • Food Bank Drive to be held Opening Day and Appreciation Day

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Basketball:

 

  • Signup dates to be discussed at September meeting
  • Filchner volunteered to be the LVL representative

 

Baseball:

 

  • Fall baseball and softball up and running
  • Baseball games beginning this week.

 

Softball:

 

  • Coaches meeting being held Monday August 18th at NAA Fieldhouse
  • Parkland and LV need League fees.

 

LVL Coach Nominations:

 

10U  Matt Makovsky nominated ( 1st Ehrlacher 2nd Mannino)  - unopposed

 

12U  Bob Ehrlacher nominated (1st Spangler 2nd Winkle) unopposed

 

Football:

 

  • Signups complete
  • Schedule set
  • Referee fees needed
  • Canal Street Field in need of cleanup following trenches being dug for light install
  • Thank you to coaches for assisting with equipment handout and Canal Street preparation for light install
  • Emergency/First aid Kits needed for Canal street
  • Picture day changed from August 19th to August 25th

 

Cheering:

 

  • Mats were ordered and will be delivered in 2 weeks
  • Practice is going well
  • Coaches list needs to be submitted for background verification

Wrestling:

Field Hockey:

 

Nothing to report

 

OTHER BUSINESS:

 

Motion:

 

Support Free Libraries project Amanda Thrash is developing in the borough

 

$300 Donation  1st Ehrlacher  2nd Mannino – passed by majority vote

 

 

 

Spangler discussed incentive options to be reviewed  regarding Lottery Ticket sales

  • Donation received from Mallory Bomboy Tournament  $1750.00
  • Pixie season very hectic
  • LVL 10U  placed 2nd in the league
  • Coach Resignations:

                          10U – Ehrlacher

                           12U – Winkle

                           14U- Groller

  • Fall Ball sign ups are ongoing

 

Baseball:

  • LVL Knee-Hi team in finals as of 7/9/14

 

Football:

  • Sign-ups are ongoing
  • Equipment has been ordered
  • July 26th – Equipment hand out
  • July 23rd- League coaches picnic
  • Aug. 25th  Picture Day

 

NAA Football is on Facebook.

 

Cheering:

  • Sign-ups are complete
  • Practice has started
  • Request for Blue Flexible Carpet Mats ( 7 count)

                         NAA merchandise to be sold at Fall Ball and Football

 

Facilities- Received quote from Beltrame for roof of snack stand building

                  MOTION to Approve funds to repair roof 1st Reph 2nd Slivka approved

                  New vendor in the works for tractors ( Kermit Kistler)

2 additional pieces of equipment donated to NAA

                  Blaukovitch ( push mower and weed wacker)

Schedules posted on league site – Slivka to get to NAA

Head Coaches/ Assistants invited to Annual League party

Fundraising:

  • Golf Tournament held April 13 – successful day (Thanks to Jeremy and Whitetail Golf Club
  • Opening Day : funds raised successfully through the Basket Raffle, NAA merchandise, 50/50 raffle and additional NAA clothing order
  • Lottery Tickets need to  be turned in ASAP
  • Opening Day Food Drive collected 324.5 lbs of food items
