OLD BUSINESS:

Night Golf Outing: ( Village Crossing) former Mahoning Valley

Contact Butch Gestl -  August 23rd  Flyer to be distributed

Checks payable to Butch Gestl - $80 per player

3:00 registration day golf   6:00 registration night golf (11 holes at night)

 

COMMITTEES:

Fundraising – Lottery Tickets need to be turned in

                         NAA merchandise to be sold at Fall Ball and Football

 

Facilities- Received quote from Beltrame for roof of snack stand building

                  MOTION to Approve funds to repair roof 1st Reph 2nd Slivka approved

                  By majority.

                  New vendor in the works for tractors ( Kermit Kistler)

2 additional pieces of equipment donated to NAA

                  Blaukovitch ( push mower and weed wacker)

CWL – playoff to begin this week

LVL – regular season coming to close

In House Biddy playoffs  June 20th

Grasshopper Tourmament (Hokey) Saturday and Sunday

MOTION to purchase Tshirts for the team 1st Reph 2nd Held passed by majority

Coplay 9U tournament evaluation to be set

Fall Ball to include all levels T-ball à Majors

Fall Ball signup dates set.

 

 

Softball:

Tball doing well

Fun night next Friday the 20th

Pixie Championship Sat. June 21st

LVL 10U playoffs Mon. /Tues.

          12U competing for playoffs

         

Certified Letters sent to parents involved in incident at NAA on Field #2 – Banned from NAA

 

 

Football:

Signups underway – this Saturday Coaches Clinic at High School

Budget Sled included

Motion to Purchase 30 new Helmets 1st Clapso 2nd Blaukovitch passed by majority

Schedules posted on league site – Slivka to get to NAA

Head Coaches/ Assistants invited to Annual League party

Picture day set for August 25th

OLD BUSINESS:

 

Banners are in an up on Field #1 and #2 – Donated by Assist2Sell and Edward’s Business Machines

 

COMMITTEES:

 

Fundraising:

  • Golf Tournament held April 13 – successful day (Thanks to Jeremy and Whitetail Golf Club
  • Opening Day : funds raised successfully through the Basket Raffle, NAA merchandise, 50/50 raffle and additional NAA clothing order
  • Lottery Tickets need to  be turned in ASAP
  • Opening Day Food Drive collected 324.5 lbs of food items

M Slivka:

  • Discussed Night Golf outing to be run this year in partnership with NAA
  • Will need volunteers
  • Date to be set in August or September

Facilities:

  • 2 tractors and a lawn mover were donated through family/friends of Reph and Clapso

 

NEW BUSINESS:

 

Basketball:

Nothing to report

Baseball:

  • everything running well  LVL, CWL and Inhouse Leagues
  • LVL Biddy took 2nd place in LTAA Tournament – Tony presented trophy.

Softball:

  • Tball running well
  • Pixie confusion with rules – Gary is handling
  • 12U Parkland League – player ejected by umpire- league has not returned Gary’s attempt to reach out or has attempted to reach out to NAA.
  • Mallory Bomboy Tournament – a success – NAA will receive a grant- monies are being calculated
  • Gary was approached about NAA hosting the tournament next year – they request a donation be made back to the tournament fund from proceeds at the snack stand.

 

 

Football:

  • Sign up dates are set and Flyer is out
  • Spengler posted on an NAA Facebook page
  • Slivka to be given administrative rights to the Football page of NAA website
  • Sled monies were approved in past – wait to order due to drop ship – need room
  • Light installation date to be determined
  • Discussed Soccer rotating on Football field in order to preserve grass.

Cheering:

  • Took 2nd place in US Finals
  • Signups were held in April – approx. 144 girls.

OLD BUSINESS:

Baseball/Softball Clinic proceeds being distributed to NAA/ Rec Center and Booster clubs.

NAA Fences were repaired by the Borough.

NAA Field house roof has been repaired.

Quotes will be acquired by G Winkle regarding b Banner for Field #1 behind bleachers.

Baseball/Softball Clinic was a success with great support from High School teams.

Golf Tournament this coming Sunday.

Coaches need to verify Baskets for opening day raffle

NAA Merchandise will be sold Opening Day

Food Drive will be held Opening Day

Lottery Tickets need to by submitted.

 

FACILITIES:

Sound booth is being prepared for Opening Day

2 quotes need to be acquired for the opening of the Men’s room

Plumber to be contacted for the drain in the equipment room.

Job Box has been placed at 26th street
