Fundraising:   Merchandise Sale in Conjunction with Basketball Picture Day

 

                         Potential of selling NAA Basketball Shirts

 

                         Cheering Raffle was a success as well as the Breakfast with Santa

 

Facilities:         Tractors returned to NAA

 

                          Batting Cage to be built in Spring

 

                          Fieldhouse man door will be installed

 

                          Attempting to make contact with Cavallo regarding field repair.

 

 

 

Basketball:

 

Coaching spots filled

 

Meeting with K-2 girls Thursday

 

Schedules being finalized

 

Running out of court space with increased #’s

 

Additional uniform jerseys were ordered

 

Discussed a review of the Rec Center policy regarding Closed practices

 

Looking into using schools for Home Games ( Siegfried / Middle School )

 

Baseball:

 

LVL – Pitch count passed at meeting

 

            Salisbury proposed territory expansion did not pass

 

            No fake bunting

 

            Coaches Clearance form to be completed and submitted

 

CWL – umpire fees were increased

 

Connie Mack – NAA was voted in to return to the league – Kerbacher attending meetings

 

                          Approximately 25 teams in the league

 

Need to restore pitcher’s mound at Canal Street to accommodate Connie Mack

 

Softball:

Football:

 

Banquet this coming Friday

 

Slivka discussed purchasing Championship Banners to display at Football Field

 

Reph installed rebar to prevent future damage to field from vehicles

 

Sleds need to be secure

 

Cheering:

  • Thank you for the help in making Appreciation Day a success

  • Jr. PeeWee tournament  Oct 31st will need help with snackstand
  • Flag Tournament @ Hokey will need Entry Fee

  • Currently have 40 kids registered (goal at 60-65)

John spoke with vendor regarding tractor – vendor stated there was nothing wrong

1 tractor a NAA / Golf Cart at Football

 

NEW BUSINESS:

Fundraising:  Glow Golf, and Merchandise profits were reported

                         Clothing order was placed with Bindics

                         Baskets for Raffle can still be turned in. Raffle set for 9/19

Facilities:         John working with 84 lumber for Field House door

              MOTION: Cost of Field house Door  1st Reph 2nd Spangler passed by majority.

                         John to work on repair of Field #1 roll up door.

 

Basketball:

Sign up dates Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings beginning 9/24

In search of coaches

Rec Center will provide court time.

 

Baseball:

2 weeks remain in regular season

Several team to compete in playoffs.

Softball:

Games to begin this week

Will work with Eric on Snackstand coverage.

Football:

Teams playing well

Snackstand going well

Tentative playoff date (host game 10/24)

Slivka working with NASD on Appreciation Day

Cheering:

Currently practicing

Competition Sunday Nov. 1 @ Rec Center

Kerbacher informed cheering of potential fee increase

Slivka mentioned potential cheerleaders for playoff games.

Jim to prepare budget

Jim will be moving up to coach JV at the High School level

Joe Sommer to step into Jim’s role
