Son of MYSA Director Gary Hamilton achieves national recognition OLLU's Gary Hamilton selected to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Men's Soccer Team by Patricia Constantin
TOWSON, MD. (Nov. 29, 2011) – Our Lady of the Lake University men's soccer standout Gary Hamilton Jr has been selected to the 2011 Capital One Academic All-America® College Division Men's Soccer Team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Hamilton, a senior from Middlesbrough, England, scored one goal this season, the only goal of his four-year career at Our Lady of the Lake. He helped the Saints to 12-6-2 overall record and to the semifinal round of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament. An All-RRAC First Team member, the biology major has a 3.86 G.P.A.
Since the program's inception in 1952, CoSIDA has bestowed Academic All-America honors on more than 14,000 student-athletes in Divisions I, II, III and NAIA, covering all NCAA championship sports. |

OLLU soccer's Octavio Herrera and Gary Hamilton Jr named to 'Men's All-Conference First Team' by Patricia Constantin
WACO, TEXAS (Nov. 11, 2011) -- The Red River Athletic Conference announced today the members of the 2011 Red River Athletic Conference Men's Soccer All-Conference Team as voted by the conference's head coaches.
Our Lady of the Lake University's Gary Hamilton and Octavio Herrera were named to the All-Conference First Team.
Hamilton is a senior defender from Middlesbrough, England and the captain of the team. Herrera is a junior defender from Harlingen, Texas.

OLLU's Bazan and Hamilton named to the 'Capital One Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team' by Patricia Constantin
SAN ANTONIO (Nov. 4, 2011) -- Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU) has received noticed that David Bazan and Gary Hamilton Jr have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Nominations for the awards are submitted by members of the association. News and Sports Information Officer Patty Constantin represents OLLU in the association. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution. Nominated athletes must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at their positions. No student-athlete is eligible until he/she has completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution and has reached sophomore athletic eligibility.Hamilton and Bazan are captains of the Saints' team this year. Hamilton is a native of Middlesbrough, England, and lives in McAllen, Texas. He is majoring in Biology at OLLU. Bazan is from Harlingen, Texas, and is also majoring in Biology. Both student-athletes are seniors this year. |

Dynamo Jrs Training Academy SPRING 2012 The Academy develops all players abilities for all levels of play. We offer development programs focusing on skills and team concepts. All classes are age appropriate and emphasize teaching children how to think on the field while having fun. Our aim is for your child to learn soccer skills at an early age. Sessions contain both basic technique and small-sided games. Your child will be developed in a soccer friendly atmosphere with qualified coaches. MYSA/DYNAMO IS PARTNERING WITH CHILDRENS HAVEN INTERNATIONAL AN ORPHANAGE IN REYNOSA. WE ARE HOLDING A SHOE DRIVE TO INCLUDE NEW OR GENTLY USED SOCCER SHOES,TENNIS OR RUNNING SHOES.
