The Reds split games again with beautiful weather and a 1 - 1 record in pool play on Saturday.  Due to rainy weather Sunday's bracket play was cancelled.

Out of the field of 20 teams, the Reds finish with another 2 and 2 record.  We went extra innings to beat the West Cobb Vipers to make it to the elite eight.  We then lost to the South Forsyth War Eagles that eventually won the tournament.  Thanks to the Mustangs and the Vipers for another great weekend of baseball.  Congrats to the War Eagles.

REDS WIN TOURNAMENT!!!  In two days of baseball, the Reds finish a perfect 6-0.  We met up with the Augusta Diamondbacks, Franklin Falcons, Team Wilson, Georgia Diamondbacks, Columbus Copperheads, and the East Cobb Braves.  Congrats!

The Reds invite 36 teams over 3 age groups and hold games at both Barnett Park and Hobgood Park for this 6th annual tournament.  Against our original thoughts, we decided to play in our own tournament.  We completed pool play at 1 - 1.  Losing to the EC Braves 11 - 7 after leading the game 7-1 and beating the Kennesaw Mustangs 8 - 4.  Sunday bracket play was rained out.  The EC Braves come in 1st place and the Elite Red Sox 2nd place.  See the Reds Invitational page for more details.

The Reds finish in the top 8 at the Elite Travel Classic at East Cobb Sports Complex.  This was the toughest competition we have seen this season.  We finished 1 - 2 in pool play.   Losing to the R.C.B.C. Stingers in the first round of the championship bracket.   The Memphis Travelers won the tournament beating the Gameday Athletics.

The Reds finish even at 2-2 this weekend.  The Columbus Copperheads win the championship.

In a cold and wet tournament, the Reds finish in 3rd.  After going 1-1 in pool play with only 9 runs allowed, we ended up as the 3rd seed out of 10 teams.  The next match up was then against the No. 2 seeded Roswell Hornets.  The Hornets went on to win the Championship.  Congratulations Hornets!

The Reds officially opened up their tournament season with a respectable 2-2 record at the Triple Crown event.  The Georgia Raiders won the tournament  out of the field of 8.  See pictures of the tournament by visiting the "Reds Hot Links" page.
