Birmingham Field
From US 75 - From US 75 Take State Route 92 Exit in Acworth (or take US 575 to Route 92)
Whether you take SR-92 or take US 575 it is 9 miles from US-575 to Hardscrabble Road (there will be a rather large Super Target shopping Center on your left). Take a left onto Hardscrabble Rd. Go 2.4 miles and you will come to a Stop sign. Bear left at the Stop sign onto Crabapple Road and proceed .5 miles. You will cross Arnold Mill Rd. (SR-140). (As you cross Arnold Mill you will see a Kroger on your left and an Ingles on your right). Continue straight 1.2 miles from the intersection of Crabapple Road and Arnold Mill Rd. You will come to a stop light at the intersection of Crabapple Road and Birmingham Highway. There will be a Shell Station on your left and a couple of Antique Shops on the corner. Take a left and the Church/Field is 5 miles up on the left. As you travel up Birmingham Road you will pass a blinking red light at approximately the two mile mark. If you arrive at a second blinking light, you went about 50 yards too far north!
From the South - take Georgia 400 North to Exit 7B, the directions begin as you follow the exit ramp over 400. Pass over Route 400 and go 3 miles to Crabapple Road (Holcomb Bridge will turn into Crossville Road when you cross over Alpharetta Highway - Hwy 9).
There will be an Amoco and a Chevron Station on your right - make a right onto Crabapple. Go 3.5 miles on Crabapple (past the three large Red Silos) until you come to a light with a Shell Station on the left - take a left at the light - onto North 372 which is Birmingham Highway. Go North on 372 for 4.8 miles - (at the 2 mile mark you will pass a blinking light - keep going straight) you will see Birmingham United Methodist Church on your left - there will be driveways on either side of the church - it doesn't matter which one you use, the field is directly behind the church. If you arrive at a second blinking light you passed the church by about 200 ft.!
