2010 MYBA Spring Play-Off Format
2010 MYBA SPRING PLAY-OFF FORMATS: Coaches pleas note and plan accordingly! TIE BREAKERS: 1st Tie Breaker is Head-to-Head games. 2nd Tie Breaker is run differential in Head-to-Head games (No max per game). 3rd Tie Breaker is runs allowed in Head-to-Head games. 4th Tie Breaker flip of coin. Note: A tie game is ½ win and ½ loss, and will be reflected as such in calculating a teams winning percentage. SEEDING: Teams will be seeded based on their record using the above tie breaker system. If teams do not play the same number of games we will use winning percentage in order to seed teams. RAIN-OUTS: We will reschedule games as soon as they are rained out. We reserve the right to establish a cut-off date for the rescheduling of games should it become necessary towards the end of the regular season. 8U DIVISION LEAGUE FORMAT: 17 GAMES All Teams (8 Teams) will play two round of games. Top four (4) will be placed in the Majors, and bottom four (4) will be placed in the AAA Divisions. Each team will play each team in the division one more time for a total of 17 Games. MAJORS Play-Off: #3 Seed vs #4 Seed in Qualifying Game. Winner plays #2 Seed in SEmi-finals, and the winner advances to Best of Three FINALS vs #1 Seed. AAA Play-Off: FINAL 4 Single Elimination Tournament. 10U MAJORS DIVISION LEAGUE FORMAT: 18 GAMES All Teams (7 Teams) will play three rounds of games. Top Two (2) Teams qualify for FINAL 4 Double Elimination Tournament Qualifier G1: #3 Seed vs #6 Seed Qualifier G2: #4 Seed vs #5 Seed Winners of Qualifier G1 & Qualifier G2 advance to FINAL 4 Double Elimination Tournament 10U AAA DIVISION LEAGUE FORMAT: AAA 18 GAMES AA 17 GAMES All Teams (13 Teams) will play each other once (12 Games). Top seven (7) Teams advance to AAA, and Bottom six (6) Teams advance to AA Divisions. Each Team will play each team in the division one more time. AAA Play-Offs Top Two (2) Teams qualify for FINAL 4 Single Elimination Tournament Play-In Game #6 Seed vs #7 Seed Qualifier Game 1: #3 Seed vs Winner 6/7 Qualifier Game 2: #4 Seed vs #5 Seed Winners of QF1 and QF2 advance to FINAL 4 Single Elimination Tournament AA Play-Offs Top Two (2) Teams qualify for FINAL 4 Single Elimination Tournament Qualifier Game 1: #3 Seed vs #6 Seed Qualifier Game 2: #4 Seed vs #5 Seed Winners of QF1 and QF2 advance to FINAL 4 Single Elimination Tournament 11U MAJORS DIVISION LEAGUE FORMAT: 17 GAMES All Teams (8 Teams) will play two round of games. MYBA OFFICIAL TEAM ROSTER FORM
MYBA Official Team Roster Form: The MYBA Official Team Roster Form MUST being completed with all information completed for each player (Player's Full Name, Date of Birth, Address, Parental/Guardian Authorization Siganature, and School Attended). Additionally, copies of each player's BIRTH CERTIFICATE MUST be attached to the Roster Form. The COMPLETE package MUST be turned in to the LEAGUE COMMISSIONER prior to the teams first scheduled game. Players may be added to the Roster prior the teams 3rd scheduled league game. A revised MYBA Official Team Roster Form w/ copies of BirthCertificates for each player added MUST be submitted prior to the TEAMS 3RD SCHEDULED LEAGUE GAME inorder for the added player to be elegible. Complete a form for each player with all information, have a parent or legal guardian sign the Registration Information and the Participation Authorization and Medical Release. City of Miami Commissioner Angel Gonzalez throws out the first pitch to Inaugurate the NEW Grapeland Park Sports Complex on Saturday, August 18th, 2007 We want to thank Commissioner Gonzalez for giving the youth of our community first class recreational facilities such as those now at Grapeland Park. At left is Commissioner Gonzalez throwing out the first pitch.
