American futures soccer school will be offering training sessions this summer.
Director John Skelton, leading his 20th season of area soccer schools, has announced the dates for the 2008 American Futures Soccer School for Girls and Boys.
Young players in grades K - 4 may choose half day sessions at Whitaker Fields in North Conway from 9:00AM to Noon, or at Burke Field in Madison from 2:00PM to 5:00PM on Thurs/Fri June 26/27 and M - W June 30, July 1 and July 2.
Older players in Grades 4 - 7 may opt for the July 14 - 18 (M-F) full day sessions at Whitaker Fields, North Conway, from 9:00AM to 3:00PM.
High School and Middle School players can fine tune their game for school pre-season events and tryouts at Conway during Sessions from 5:30PM - 8:00PM.
American Futures Soccer School provides progressive instruction of basic soccer techniques and tactics towards the development of the youth's growth in mind, body and spirit of fair play. Beginning and experienced players will find appropriate challenges and instruction.
The 1/2 day sessions will cost $70 and the full day sessions , July 14 - 18 will be $110.
Coach Skelton is an "A" licensed coach with US Soccer and holds the National Youth Coaching License. As Coaching Director of the Mount Washington Valley Soccer Club, the winningest varsity coach in Kennett High School soccer history, a past college coach of both men's and women's teams, Skelton brings a wealth of expertise and commitment to area players.
