Midwest Team Tournaments: Welcome

WHO WE ARE

Midwest Team Tournaments is a Southwest Ohio-based organization devoted to putting on high quality baseball tournaments for ages 15-18 at some of the best facilities in the Midwest. The organization was created in 2009 by Rick Cassano and Doug Woods, two former travel ball coaches who hosted large tournaments for nearly a decade with their select team, the Butler County Diamondbacks.

Our 2012 tournaments are listed below. In 2011, seven states and Canada were represented among more than 60 teams in our 15U, 16U and 18U events.

$800 entry fee, five-game guarantee

Separate 15U and 16U tournaments will be run simultaneously

The University of Cincinnati's Marge Schott Stadium is our anchor field. Area high school fields will be used as well, and we are also looking to add another college field.

Out-of-town teams don't have to start play until Friday.

Three new baseballs will be provided per game.

A deposit of $200 will hold your spot in the tournament. Remaining fees won't be due until March, 2012.

Out-of-town teams must stay in tournament hotels. A list will be provided.

We will also use Foundation Field in Hamilton, a current college and former minor-league park, and area high school fields. We are looking to add another college field as well.
