Welcome to the Maple Woods Sports Training Center. The MWSTC is a temperture controlled 10,000 sq. ft. state-of-art field turf facility.  The MWSTC features clay mounds, batting cages, 4 iron mike pitching machines, fielding areas, L-screens, pitching targets, tees, training aids, and quality baseballs for pitching, hitting, and fielding. Programs offered include individual and group instruction, soccer leagues, hitting leagues, camps, clinics, youth age competitive teams, speed and agility training, video analysis, team consultation, and birthday parties. The MWSTC has a qualified experienced and professional staff of instructors and coaches. The staff is equiped with over 25 years of college coaching experience, more than 20 years professional playing experience, and 30 years of major league scouting knowledge. The STC will be hosting its annual Thanksgiving camp.  The camp will take place on November 27th and 28th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  Campers will learn the fundamentals of hitting and pitching through drills and exercises designed to isolate the proper movements.  All ages are welcome to attend.  For more information email: mwstc@mcckc.edu.

Camp will cover all aspects of the game including hitting, pitching, fielding, baserunning, and baseball specific conditioning as well as the mental side of the game. The camp will be directed by Marty Kilgore and Kenny Hook along with MWSTC instructors and current Maple Woods Baseball players. Camp is for all ages, cost is $125.00 per player. Camp will be held December 28th-30th. 9:00am-12:00pm. For registration info email: mwstc@mcckc.edu.

If team has scheduling conflicts please email dates and times of conflicts and we will do our best to take into consideration.

The Sports Training Center will host their winter hitting league starting on January 9th.  The league will cost $70 per player or $250 per 4-player team.  The hitting league will consist of 4 age groups:  6-8, 9-10, 11-13, and 14-16.  Teams will play a seven inning contest with a one hour time limit.  For more information contact Kenny Hoook at 816-437-3500 or email kenny.hook@mcckc.edu
