A NOTE ON DIRECTIONS
Please remember that people will be traveling to these sites from many different directions. As such, the directions below have been given as a guide to your opponents stadium from a point that should be familiar to a majority of people. If required, please seek out additional information that would be specific to your location or your particular travel requirements from the Internet using Mapquest or Google Maps. Bearcat Stadium (Bentworth) From Interstate 70 proceed into Bentleyville on Rt. 917 (Main Street). Go through red light, past Bodgewic Chevrolet, into Ellsworth and past their Fire Department. Turn left onto OAK Street and go up the hill. At the top of the hill, turn left, then into parking area. The field is above the parking area - across from Ava Maria School. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. Bulldog Stadium (Beth Center) Take Rt. 88 into Fredericktown. Turn right (across from Fredericktown Butcher Shop) onto MILL Street. Once on MILL Street turn immediately left. Take MILL Street to SOKOLS HILL Road and turn right up the hill. At top of hill turn left onto STADIUM Road. The field and parking lot are straight ahead. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. California High School Stadium (California) Take the Mon Valley Expressway (Rt. 43) to the California exit. Make a left at the stop sign onto MALDEN Road and follow this road to the top of the hill. Turn right onto TROJAN Way (this is the entrance to the school complex. The field is over the hill from the high school. Follow the directions at the school to the field parking area. Surface is artificial turf. Stadium is lighted. Charleroi School Campus Field (Charleroi) Proceed on Rt. 88 through/to Charleroi until arriving at FOURTH Street in N. Charleroi (there is a pizza shop on the corner on your right side). Continue up the hill on FOURTH Street (becomes FOURTH Street Extension) to the entrance to the Charleroi School District campus (sign on right). Turn right onto FECSEN Drive and proceed to back of school campus. Field is located beyond Elementary Center (over hill). Surface is artificial turf. Stadium is lighted. Commodore Stadium (Frazier) From Interstate 70, take Rt. 51 South toward Perryopolis. After passing Randalls Restaurant on the left, make a left turn onto COMMODORE Way. Travel approximately 1/4 mile. Field is on the left. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. East Allegheny High School (East Allegheny) From Interstate 70, take Rt. 51 North to the intersection with Rt. 48. At the light, turn right onto Rt. 48 and travel approximately 15 miles. Turn left off of Rt. 48 into the school parking areas. Surface is artificial. Stadium is lighted. Finley Middle School Field (Union-Finley) Follow Rt. 88 North towards Finleyville and cross the railroad tracks. Continue on Rt. 88 by turning right at stop sign and then left at the Sheetz gas station. Approximately 1/4 miles after this turn, Finley Middle School is on the left. Turn into the school parking area. The field is behind the school. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is NOT lighted. Glassport Stadium (South Allegheny) From Rt. 51 North - Take the ramp (before crossing bridge) toward Elizabeth/Glassport. At the bottom of the ramp turn right onto N 3RD Avenue. Continue on this road as it becomes MCKEESPORT Road. Continue on MCKEESPORT Road for 0.6 miles to the light at the intersection with LOVEDALE Road. Continue straight at the light as the road becomes LINCOLN Blvd. Go 3 miles to the light at the intersection with the Clairton Bridge. Continue through the light as the road becomes OHIO Avenue. Continue on OHIO Avenue for 0.5 miles. The stadium is on the left. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. James Russell Memorial Stadium (aka Legion Field, Donora) Travel into Donora on Rt. 837. Turn onto SECOND Street and go to the top of the hill. Turn right onto WASHINGTON Drive and proceed toward old Donora High School. The field is behind the school. DYAA/MVMFL officials and senior/handicapped parking: From Rt. 837, turn onto SIXTH Street at police station go to "T" at WADDELL Avenue. Turn left onto WADDELL Avenue and travel to stop sign at FIFTH Street. At stop sign,go straight aprox. 150 feet and make a right turn onto DRAGON Lane. Go to the main gate and make a right turn into the alley. The first lot on the left is for team and league officials and the second lot on left is for senior/handicapped parking only. A new gate is open by the concession stand. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. James Weir Stadium (Rostraver) Proceed on Rt 201. to the Belle Vernon Area Schools entrance (marquis at the bottom of the hill). Turn at the entrance marquis and proceed up the hill past the schools. At the stop sign, turn left into the parking area. The field is beyond the elementary school. Surface is artificial. Stadium is lighted. Joe Montana Stadium (Ringgold) From Monongahela, turn onto Rt. 136 at the Penzoil gas station and travel aprox 2.5 miles. When Rt. 136 meets FOURTH Street Extension in Carroll Twp, continue about 500 feet and turn right onto RAM Drive. The stadium is on the right. From Mon Valley Expressway (toll 43) exit at the Monongahela exit and turn onto Rt. 136 South, travel approximately 1/4 mile and turn left onto RAM Drive. The stadium is on right. At Joe Montana Memorial stadium there is limited parking on RAM Drive however, there is ample parking at top of the hill in the Ringgold HS lot. Surface is artificial. Stadium is lighted. John C. Bruno Field (Yough) Take Rt. 31 to Rt. 136 East and travel approximately 2.3 miles. Make the left turn onto WEST NEWTON Road and proceed towards Herminie. Go approximately 2.5 miles. Football field is on the left across from the Dairy Queen. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. Monessen Memorial Stadium (Monessen) Take Rt. 906 into Monessen. Turn onto THIRD Street and go up the hill to the five-way intersection. Make a hard left turn to the Monessen Elementary Center. The field is adjacent to school. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. Monongahela Municipal Field (Monongahela) Travel into Monongahela on Rt. 88. At the light, turn onto FOURTH Street and proceed up the hill approximately 4/10 mile. Turn left onto MOUND Street and follow to the end. The field is on the left. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is NOT lighted. Redstone Field (Brownsville) From the Mon Valley Expressway (Rt. 43) proceed onto Rt. 40 East towards Uniontown. Cross the Monongahela River on the Brownsville High Level Bridge and continue through town to the top of the hill. Exit right off of Rt. 40 East onto Rt. 40 East Business. Travel approximately 1/4 mile to the next red light. Continue straight at the light on to Rt. 166 South past the Brownsville Hospital entrance. The football field is approximately 2 miles from the light on the right hand side. Surface is natural grass. Stadium is lighted. Russ Grimm Field (Southmoreland) From Interstate 70 - Get off at the Mt. Pleasant. Turn onto MT. PLEASANT Road (Rt. 31 West) and travel 5.3 miles towards Mt. Pleasant. Make a slight right hand turn onto RUFFSDALE ALVERTON Road towards Scottdale and travel 2.6 miles. Southmoreland High School will be on the right and the Junior High School on the left. The stadium is behind the Junior High School. (DO NOT USE - BRIDGE ON ROUTE CLOSED!!) From Interstate 70 - Get off at the Smithton Exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn onto DUTCH HOLLOW Road toward Smithton. Travel 1 mile on this road until arriving at a stop sign. Make a left turn onto Rt. 981 North. Proceed for 7.3 miles. Rt. 981 North will then bear left. Turn left and continue on Rt. 981 North for another 1.9 miles to a stop sign at the intersection with WATER Street. Proceed through the stop sign on Rt. 981 North. Southmoreland High School will be on the left and the Junior High School on the right. The stadium is behind the Junior High School. From the PA Turnpike at New Stanton Exit - At the exit stay in the left lane. Look for the Rt. 119 South sign (left lane). Proceed onto Rt. 119 South toward Connellsville. Go 6.5 miles and take the Mt. Pleasant Exit. At the exit make a left turn onto Rt. 31 East toward Mt. Pleasant. Proceed on Rt. 31 East for 0.5 miles to the third traffic light. At the intersection make a right turn onto MOREWOOD Street (Rt. 981 South). Stay on Rt. 981 South for 2.4 miles to a stop sign. Proceed through the stop sign for about 500 yards. Southmoreland High School will be on the right and the Junior High School on the left. The stadium is behind the Junior High School. Surface is artificial. Stadium is lighted. Warrior Stadium (Elizabeth Forward) From Interstate 70, take Rt. 51 North to the intersection with Rt. 48. At the light, turn right onto Rt. 48 and travel approximately 3 miles. Bear left off of Rt. 48 just past the field and proceed to the school parking areas. Surface is artificial. Stadium is lighted. |
