Like peas in a pod, honey in combs, sap in trees (o.k. shoot me, I ran out of analogies)...you get the point. Antelia Parrish and Danielle Bozeman decided that they wanted to continue to grow together. Aside from seeing Nikki hit Ant with a sweet post entry pass, the two can be seen off of the court as a great support to each other. The two friends constantly provide advice and motivate the other to excel. This kind of relationship led to last years WCAC & City Title Crowns. The type of attitude that they exude is contagious. They are leaders and the younger girls feed from their leadership.
The Fordham University Rams will benefit from these two next season. Today, Friday, November 14th, Nikki & Ant will sign letters-of intent to play hoops at the Atlantic 10 School. It preludes an exciting time in Bishop McNamara History. These two along with fellow senior Chauntise Wright will lead the Lady Stangs on a quest for a National Title. Congrats to point guard Nikki Bozeman & do-it-all Antelia Parrish as well as your parents. We thank you for all that you have given to this point...and expect great things this year !!!

NATION'S #1 & THE MEN HEADLINE MIDNIGHT MADNESS@ THE "Mc"
11/6/2003

Mustang News On-line Staff
November 7, 2003 @ 10:30 PM the Nation's #1 High School Women's Basketball Team will participate in Midnight Madness. This basketball phenomenon is usually reserved for colleges and universities; however, with the anticipation of a season that could result in Bishop McNamara's 1st National Title of any kind, the Mustang faithful are in a frenzy. For those who don't know Midnight Madness is a tradition in which hoop teams hold their 1st in season practice at Midnight on the sanctioned date that practice can begin. "It should be out of this world, we want the entire student body to be there" said Coach Mike Bozeman. The recent success of the Men's Team cannot be overlooked. They are a year removed from the WCAC semis, and they are coming off of a great Summer. "This should be exciting, it's a great way to start the year" said 1st year men's Coach Marty Keithline.
Although basketball is the feature attraction all winter sports at Bishop McNamara will be recognized. According to Bishop McNamara Athletic Director Anthony Johnson, "Our Midnight Madness is being done with the purpose to generate a sense of pride and tradition among our students and community. We simply want to acknowledge our kids and the great jobs that they do on the playing fields, courts and tracks...this is something that everyone can enjoy."
It should be noted that the entire day of November 7th is community driven for Mustang athletics. The Men's and Women's Basketball Teams will begin their outreach at 3:30pm. They will visit the SHARE Warehouse in Hyattsville, MD to help with the Holiday Food Drive. This promises to be a day of service and cheer. We look forward to all those coming to enjoy.
**November 7th, 2003 10:30pm-12:30am
**Event features: dunk contest, 3-point shootouts and fan competitions
