Spring 2012 Season Registration:         
  • In person:     Done  Sat, Feb 11,  2 - 4 pm and Sat, Feb 18, 2012,  2 - 4 PM, at Muskegon Fire Station #4, Laketon Ave. & Lakeshore Drive.  Payment by Cash or Money Order.  No personal checks.
  • By Mail:       Done  Must be RECEIVED by Feb 25, 2012; late registration thereafter.  Mailing address is on registration form posted to this page under "Documents" below.  Payment by Money Order only.  No personal checks. 
  • Online:       Done  Click on "Register Online" button above.  Payment by Visa or Mastercard. *** Note to those registering a player for the Under-6 age division:  The system only allows one date to be used in determining age.  The standard date for all age divisions is July 31 (in this case, 2011) for the two seasons, fall and spring, of the following "seasonal year."  Muskegon Soccer Club will allow players who are AT LEAST FOUR (4) YEARS OLD by the date of the FIRST GAME, Sat, April 14, 2012, to register and play.  However, because of the date setting mentioned above, the only way to allow players to register who turn FOUR (4) AFTER July 31 is to set the system to allow 3 year olds to register.  Please make certain that you ONLY register your child for U-6 if your child will be FOUR (4) years old by April 14.  Three (3) year-olds will NOT be allowed to participate and any erroneous registrations of 3 year-olds will be refunded, MINUS the $4 Active.com processing fee that the Club cannot recover.
Regular registration through Feb 25, 2012; late registration thereafter, which includes a $5 Late Fee.  Late registration placement is on a space-available basis only.  Refunds issued as necessary, minus the $4 Active.com processing fee.
 
Please mark your calendar with these dates:
 
6-game regular season for all age divisions, begins Sat, Apr 14 and runs until 6th and final Saturday, May 19, 2012.  For the age divisions Under-10-and-older ONLY, the 3-match preliminary round of the postseason tournament begins May 20th (schedules to be released midseason), skips Memorial Day weekend, and wraps up during following week.  Tournament Finals are Sat, June 2, to include only top 4 teams of each tournament group based on standings from the 3 Preliminary Round matches.  Results will be posted at glcsoccer.org.
 
Coaches may choose their own practice site at a city park or public school (with prior permission from building principal) and set practice times that best fit their schedule.  Want your child's practice time to fit your schedule?  Volunteer to coach!
 
In order to not conflict with the spring girls school soccer teams at the Muskegon middle and high schools, MSC will not offer girls teams for Spring 2012 above U12 division.

Who We Are

Muskegon Soccer Club is a non-profit parent-run organization which exists for the purpose of providing a safe, fun recreational youth soccer experience for area children.  We are a member club of the Great Lakes Coed Soccer League, which is a member of the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association, which is a member of US Youth Soccer, a branch of the US Soccer Federation.  A big "thank you" goes out to the volunteers who do so much to make the organization run smoothly. With the exception of referees paid a modest fee to officiate matches, all club functions are accomplished through the volunteer efforts of parents and concerned adults.  Everyone has a role to play -- how can you help ensure your children have a high quality soccer experience?  More about volunteering for Muskegon Soccer Club on the Volunteers page.
