Mr. Ted Booth has been named as the new Fastpitch Softball Coach for the Murray High Lady Tigers. Booth is a graduate of MHS and has previously been teaching the the district as well as coaching with the football program.  He feels this is a great opportunity to be involved with a good program and is looking forward to getting to know the girls and parents.  Coach Booth began his duties in mid-July and is getting things in order for the MMS season to begin. 

We wish to extend a warm welcome to Coach Booth as we embark on another year of Lady Tiger softball!

The regular monthly meeting of the MHS Fastpitch Club will be on Wed. December 2, 2009 @5:45pm in the MHS Cafeteria . Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year .

The Fastpitch Club is the primary booster group for the Lady Tiger softball program at MHS and MMS. The Fastpitch Club schedules various activities throughout the year. Fund-raising events, field maintenance, and other activities are conducted for the benefit of the program. Join in and lend a hand to support this cause and become an active member of the MHS Fastpitch Club.

MHS Practice Facility to re-open

     The Athletic practice facility at the MMS campus has been repaired and will soon be re-opened for use by the softball, baseball, and archery programs.  We will be responsible for helping make sure the facility is cleaned up and kept clean. Off-season workouts will be available soon, with hitting clinics and conditioning on the schedule.
