The 13-15 age group games will be played at the Thomas Park Babe Ruth Diamond and the 16-19 age group games will be played at Lafferty Field in McCulloch Park. All players in the 16-19 age group must still be attending high school.

The league will consist of no more than 6 teams in each league. The season will begin play on August 15/16 and play through October 17/18. Games will be played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. 10 games will be scheduled. IF fewer than 7 games can be played due to weather, a $10 per game refund will be available.

The big addition to Thomas Park and the diamond is a new two story press box and concession stand. To see our new addition either drive by and take a look at the improvements that have been made this fall or "click" on the albums button in the menu bar and take a look at the photos. The press box was built entirely from donations of material, labor, and money. No tax dollars were used to build and make the improvements at the diamond. We look forward to using the press box next summer for Babe Ruth Baseball.

We are pleased to announce that Muncie Babe Ruth Baseball League, Inc., is now a 501 (c) (3) charity.

Our baseball program is for boys age 13-15 and 16-18. We do not have a league for ages under 13. We do however recommend the Muncie Baseball and Softball Association League at Northside Middle School on Bethel Avenue. This league offers t-ball to Cal Ripkin League ( to age 12) and girls Babe Ruth Softball.Their web site is listed in our "links" tab to the left in the menu bar.

An additional  feature to the 2009 web page is for our sponsors. When a sponsor is listed on our web page their company name, address, and phone number appear. If that sponsor has a web page of their own then that information is also included. The sponsors name appears "underlined" and when a visitor clicks on that sponsor they are automatically linked to that sponsor's web page. The "star" to the left of each sponsor's name when "clicked" on opens up a Yahoo street map page that shows that particular sponsor's locatiopn. We will also be able to put individual sponsor logos onto the sponsor page when they are provided to us. There are a limited number of player fee scholarships available. To get more information and requirements contact a coach, league officer or league president.

Thank you,

Bruce Qualls, President
