The Following was taken from the minutes of the January Atlantic Babe Ruth Softball League meeting. 

During the 01/17/08 meeting it was discussed allowing 8u ABRSL teams to play each other on occasion.  Galloway, Folsom and Mullica had previously announced their willingness to play 8u ABRSL games.  EHTYS representative, Bob Korsak announced EHT would be willing to have their 8u teams play in the ABRSL as well.

Towns with 8u teams are: Galloway, EHT, Folsom and Mullica.

It was decided to have a “light” travel schedule for the 8u teams.

Schedules would be compiled by the League USA software or by coach’s consent. Further discussion on this will take place at the next general meeting.

Wins/losses would not be tracked.

A double elimination tournament will be held at the conclusion of the season.

Bob Korsak asked the group about 8u rules.  Bob had put together an 8u rule set that was to be used in EHT 8u play.  Bob passed the rules out to the 8u teams for comments.  If accepted, these rules would be adopted for 8u ABRSL play.
