Stealing in the 10u division – 2008 Babe Ruth League rules now allow stealing in the 10u division. At the 01/17/08 ABRSL meeting by unanimous vote it was agreed to allow stealing in the ABRSL 10u division.  The following rules criteria was established for the introduction of stealing into the 2008 season:

- Runner must wait until pitcher releases the ball 

- No stealing of home

- No stealing during “coach pitch”

- 1 steal per batter

- No continuation on an overthrow (during steal attempt)
