Thank you to all of you who have made the decision to come out and play this year. Please remember that we are no longer accepting any new sign-ups since all of our football teams are at full capacity. Cheer registrations are also closed and all orders have been placed for uniforms so we can no longer accept any new people. Please make sure that you have turned in all necessary paperwork to the league ASAP. Without all the forms you child cannot participate in any activities.
MJF & C BarbequeOur annual fundraising barbeque is coming up and will be on Friday, August 21st from 5pm til 7pm. We are fortunate enough to once again hold the barbeque at the Lighthouse Park in Mukilteo. Tickets will be $6.00 per person and can be purchased at the practice fields. Pre-buy your tickets now. For more information contact your coach or a Board Member. Lets hope for a large turn our and a warm sunny day.
FundRun
This years FundRun will take place on Wednesday, August 26th at 5pm. Be sure to get out there and get some sponsors. Our goal this year is to raise $2500 per squad. Remember, there are prizes possible prizes available to those who generate sponsorships. Talk to your Coach or a Board Member for more information.
Looking for a more suitable Storage location for MJF equipmentWe are in dire need for a larger more accessible storage facility to house all our equipment. Our current storage is inadequate in size, is very high in cost, and is a nightmare when trying to issue equipment. We are asking if anyone out there may know of, or have a connection with someone who may have some extra space that will be accessible 24 hrs a day and can be secured; possibly a business that has some extra warehouse space, an unused classroom or office space, etc. It could be considered a donation and written off on taxes. If you know of anything or anybody in the area that may be able to help us here, please contact any member of the operating board. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Field Reminders
Remember to clean up after yourselves after practices and games. The Mukilteo School District has been gracious enough to allow us to use their facilities so we need to return the favor by picking up our trash. If we do not, we face the possibility of losing our fields. The school district has provided trash receptacles at every field.
Coaches and Volunteers, remember that make sure all of your players are safe and have an appropriate way to get home after practices and games. Please ensure that parents are aware of your practices end time and remind them that you cannot leave until every player has been picked up.
