BEACH  BLAST - 2010    Attention:  All Muhlenberg Teams interested in attending Beach Blast 2010.  A number of items have changed and coaches should be aware of a number of items prior to team registration.  Please consider the following:·         Beach Blast is one of the best values in soccer and family entertainment.  If you don’t already know, it is a fun filled weekend of soccer with the addition of the beach, ocean, pool, friends, boardwalk and pier rides in one complete package!  It’s a great family value that is really hard to beat!  The Muhlenberg Soccer Club has always been well represented with 8 teams attending last year.  However, the club does not assist teams financially to attend the tournament.         

·         Next year’s event will be held on June 26 & 27, 2010.  Registration will be available online sometime in early January, 2010!  Email beachblastsoccer@comcast.net for more information.  Please check for updates prior to registration.   

·         This year coaches may (and are encouraged to do so) register their teams DIRECTLY at www.capeexpress.com and look for the Beach Blast link.  However, you may register no more than 10 players per team, and no player may play on more than one team within the same age group!  If you wish to register outside of the club, please be prepared to pay online as part of the online registration process in January!

 ·         If you prefer to register a team through the club, coaches may still do so but please be prepared to also pay in FULL to the club at the time the club registers teams in January.  The club can no longer advance payment to Cape Express for teams wishing to attend the event in June without receiving payment in January.  Sorry, but doing so has become an administrative and financial burden for the club.  We will be happy to register a team once a fully paid and rostered team is complete.  The cost per team for last year’s event was $750 per team WITH 10 pier wristbands.  Accommodations must be made separately.
