Jubilee Park has been around since shortly after the inception of the Red Sox club in 1964. Its first major upgrade took place In the early 90's when an underground sprinkler system and grass infield were put in. A committee was formed in 2005 to revitalize the decrepit bleacher area and discuss the creation of a pole shed to house a canteen, eating area, bathrooms and provide storage for lawnmowers. From 2006-2008, through generous donations of money and labour, the "ball park project" was completed. The latest rennovation project includes a new backstop which is hoped to be completed by opening day, 2010.
Just as the spirit of volunteerism preceeded us and lives in us now...so will the torch be passed for future generations to "keep on improving" our great facilities.
