Rule change for 12 year olds

One of the agenda items voted on by District Administrators at the 24th Little League International Congress in Houston earlier this year, was a regulation requiring that all league age 12-year-olds must be placed onto a Major Division team.  more...

Codes of Conduct
"Character, Courage, and Loyalty". The cornerstone of the Little League organization. Mountain View Little League is dedicated to emphasizing these values throughout each baseball season.

Coaches, umpires, and parents form a trio of role models from which these young boys and girls learn behaviors that they will carry into adulthood. MVLL has a Code of Conduct for both the coaches and umpires, and we feel it is equally important that the parents also have a Code of Conduct. Cooperation, respect, and maturity among all the adults in the league will encourage those qualities in the players themselves.

We're asking each parent, coach and umpire to please review and adhere to Mtn. View's codes of conduct. It's the least we can do for our kids.

Lightning Detectors
Please review the handouts for use of the lightning detectors. These are essential and required equipment at each location. At the main complex, the concession stand has a detector. When the stand is open, please verify that the detector has been activated (do not assume someone else from another field has done this). Sometimes the stand is not open during the game- and due to this the league is working to acquire another detector to have in the main shed where the cart is stored.
