GREAT  NEWS 

MTLL will be accepting online registration this year!!  We are still putting the final touches on our new immproved website and giving you the ability to register your children online.  Watch this site for more information.

Registration fees have been kept the same as the 2009 season!!

For those who prefer walk up registration here are the details:

*Wednesday January 13, 2010 or Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Mohawk elementary from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  If you are new to the league or did not play in MTLL in the 2009 season you will need to provide your drivers license, your child's birth certificate and two forms to prove residency (ie tax bill, utility bill, etc)

Are you interested in getting extra training/development for your child?  MTLL is currently forming age specific groups for weekly training sessions at a local facility.  The sessions will begin in January 2010. 

Contact Sal Gelardi at michellegelardi@comcast.net  with your name and phone number, your email address, your child's name and full date of birth (ie month-day-year), and what team they played on last year.



Rainout Information

The following information is for obtaining status of games due to weather.  Please call the following numbers based on the field you are inquiring about.  Regular Season and Playoff games only.  If it cannot be determined whether or not to cancel a game 1 hour before game time the managers are responsible for evaluation field conditions up to the start of the game.  If they determine together that the fields are not playable then they have can deem the game unplayable after the official game start time it is an umpire decision.

GENERAL INFORMATION 

MTLL offers organized baseball from the ages of 4 thru 16.  We are chartered through Little League of America with eligibility requirements within the boundaries of Macomb Township

The 2009 season marked the completion of our fifth year with approx. 1600 registered players.  Our goals are simple...provide an enjoyable experience to all participants, teach teamwork/sportsmanship and develop the community's youth baseball talent.

Divisions include Tee Ball (4/5), Coach Pitch (6/7), Rookie (8), Minors (9/10) and Majors (11/2), Juniors (13/14) and Seniors (15/16).   The League Age of the player is his/her age as of April 30th.
 

The season schedule in general goes like this:


Dec./Jan. -   Online Registration

Feb. - Select Coaching Staffs/Team Formations (tee ball/coach pitch)

Mar. - Tryouts/Player Evaluations/Drafts/Practices

April - Practices

May and June - Regular Season

July - Tournaments

PARENTS AUXILIARY

We are currently in need of parents to step up and help out witht he league.  Our league is only as good as our volunteers!!  If you would like to see MTLLB be a better league then please offer your help.

We need parents to help out with fundraisers,team moms,social functions and the banquets,plus other Macomb Township Little League functions. 

Remember -- The league is only as strong as the people who volunteer. The league needs you, so we can all grow stronger together.



Sponsors and Advertising

Attention parents and local businesses, we are currently looking for sponsors for all divisions. If you would like to sponsor a team or know of a business that would , please contact the league.

We are also looking for business ads for our 2010 league website. This is a great way  to advertise your business or personal greeting ad, very cost efficient too.



CHALLENGER LEAGUE

A Challenger League is being offered by Clinton Valley Little League. VOLUNTEERS

No matter how much time you have to devote the League is always looking for volunteers.  

All volunteers which include managers, coaches, team moms, etc.  must submit a completed Volunteer Application Form and a copy of his/hers drivers license to the Board of Directors.

Code of Conduct


Every manager and coach is required to review and sign the Code of Conduct.  Your responsibilities as a 'teacher of baseball' goes beyond instruction.  It extends into role modeling, leading by example and a continuous display of good sportsmanship, morals and respect for others
