Jacob Theis 2008 MTHS Graduate is drafted by the Kansas City Royals

Congratulations to Jacob Theis who was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 21st round.  The right handed pitcher for Mountlake Terrace high School lead his team to the Wesco South Division Championship, win the district one championship as the team advanced to the Washington State 4A State tournament.

The 6'6" 220 lbs right handed pitcher was the 625th player selected overall in the 2008 draft and will report to the Arizona League Royals.
