| Hi!! Thank you for your interest in the team! I would say on average 40 girls try out for the team and the coach takes 18 for football, 16 for basketball, and 12 for hockey! Tumbling is not a requirement but i would say about half the girls on the team can usually tumble. If anyone has any more questions you can email them to alicia.johnson@mnsu.edu so i can respond to you in a quicker manner! Hi I am Alicia Shuman and I am hoping to attend MSU next fall and i am wanting to cheer! I am waiting my acceptance letter and when i get accepted i will be pick MSU! So my hopes are to cheer for you guys! I have cheered for my highschool team since freshman year i was captain my junior and now my senior year, i cheer for football and hockey! If i can get some information or if i am able to talk to the coach that would be great! I also heard that you might have a comp squad.. is that true? thanks and i hope to hear from you soon!

| Hello, i was wondering if anyone knows when the competion team practices during the school year? Im trying out in the fall but going for orientaion soon and want to make sure my classes wont interfere.. just in case. If someone could let me know, that would be great! Thanks! |

On September 15th the Minnesota Cheerleading Coaches Association is hosting its annual cheerleadership conference at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights. | Hi my name is Dominique Howard and I will be attending MNSU this fall as a Freshma. I have been cheering all my life, cheerleadng is my life I wouldn't put another sport before it and when I say that I mean I have been cheering for 14 years with my All-Star team Chi-Town. I'm from Chicago and I hope to make a lot of new friends while at MNSU. |
