Miss Sarasota Softball: Travel team news
| Travel teams form each year to give girls the opportunity to play against teams from other cities and states. MSS sanctioned teams are not run by the board of directors and the players for each team are not chosen by the board. People get together and decide to organize a team of girls and parents willing to travel through the summer to play ball. Each team controls playing time, cost, schedule, etc. There are many organizations and tournaments available in all age groups starting at 8 AND UNDER. |

WE TRAVEL TO PLAY SOFTBALL IN TOP SHOWCASE TOURNAMENTS NOT ONLY IN FLORIDA-COLORADO, SOUTH CAROLINA, NEW JERSEY, NEVADA- TO NAME A FEW.OUR COACHING STAFF WILL ASSIST YOU IN THE RECRUITING PROCESS TO BECOME A STRONGER SOFTBALL PLAYER MOVING FORWARD TO COLLEGIATE SOFTBALL. THE HEAT PLAYS 18 "A", GOLD LEVEL TEAMS, AND COMMUNITY COLLEGES-STRONG COMPETITION TO GET THE GIRLS NOT ONLY PHYSICALLY STRONGER,MENTALLY AS WELL. | The Sarasota Heat 14 & Under Travel Softball Team is a 501c3 non-profit organization. The HEAT organization was established in 1998 and fields teams in almost every age division. The majority of the girls on the team have 97 birthdays and have been traveling together for almost 6 years. Our team won the 2008 NSA State Championships and Runner Up at the ISA World Series in 2009.
