Practice is cancelled for Saturday, February 11, 2012, due to the condition of the fields the fields are closed.  BBQ fundraiser due Monday night.

If you missed registration and tryouts don't worry it's not too late!  Come register in person on Monday nights after 6:00 pm, Tuesday nights after 7:00 pm and Thursday nights after 6:00 pm or email Info@MissSarasotaSoftball.com for more information or to schedule and appointment.

We are committed to continuing park improvements on the way to becoming a world-class softball complex. To do that, we need your help. Our current main project is the $60,000 upgrading of our dugouts to college-level standards. We'd appreciate any donations of labor or the materials in this list to help reduce this cost. Miss Sarasota Softball is a nonprofit organization which provides a recreational fastpitch softball program for girls ages 4 1/2-16.  Miss Sarasota Softball had its debut in 1973 and has continued to provide an outlet for the girls of our community ever since.    
 
Our complex is located off 17th Street, between Beneva Rd & Honore Ave, across from Chimney Creek and behind the soccer fields. Our Fall Season runs from Sept to Nov and our Spring Season runs from Feb to May.

Miss Sarasota Park Rules

NO SMOKING or ALCHOLIC BEVERAGES- Sarasota County ordinance. MSS is a County park and there is no smoking or any type of tobacco use permitted inside the park. Also no drinking of alcholic beverages is allowed.

NO BIKES, SCOOTERS, SKATES, SKATEBOARDS, ETC. allowed inside the park gates - Sarasota County rule.

NO DOGS OR PETS OF ANY TYPE PERMITTED INSIDE THE PARK - including but not limited to cats, lizards, snakes, goats, birds - Sarasota County rule.

NO TEAM COOLERS PERMITTED INSIDE THE PARK - unless they contain only water or sports drinks for the team.

Please note: We do have basketball hoops at the back of the park; however, we do not provide basketballs for use - you must bring your own.
