Indoor Season and Schedules
Our indoor season is fun and exciting for all. The games are competitive and helps to develop players for the upcoming spring season. Sign-Ups for individual and teams will be available on our website. Games will begin mid December.

Up Coming Indoor Season 2006-2007
The MSL Sports indoor season will begin Sunday December 30, 2007 at 1:00 PM. Check our wedsite for Individual and Team Signups. Hope to see you this upcoming season. If you have any questions please e-mail us at mslsports@northstate.net or call 434-5314 / 687-3304. The cost for each player is $40.
Indoor Schedules will be posted as soon as possible. Last minute teams are beginning to register.

Indoor Soccer Rules
1) All regular season games will be (22) Twenty-two minutes long and tournament games will be (15) fifteen minutes long with single elimation.
2) An additional player added to a team because lack of players on their team may not score for their team.
3) A team during regular season cannot pick up additional players unless their team has no subs. Only (1) one additional player is allowed. Rule # 2 still applies for that additional player. A team during tournament play cannot pickup additional players if that team has the allotted number of floor players for that team. Only the correct amount of floor players can be added if that team is short players.
4) All Goalies must remain with the team they start with when tournament play starts; exception(1): any changes due to not having a Goalie for a team during tournament play must be approved prior to your next tournament game. Exception (2): Once their team is elimited, the Goalie may play for another team of the same gender. No Goalie may play down an age bracket.
5) Goalies are not allowed to step out of the goalie box, but may reach over the line to pick up the ball. Goalie box is inside the foul line, up to the red line. If a Goalie steps out of the box and plays the ball with their hands an indirect free kick will be taken from anywhere on the foul line by the opposing team.
6) On any indirect free kick after the ball has been collected from going behind the goal and stopping, caught in the side net of the goal, out-of-bounds as a goal kick, or after a goal has been scored, the ball must touch a player-the wall or the floor before crossing midcourt.(exception-the ball may not be touched by the opposing team after a goal has been scored until the soccer ball has been touched by the attacking team, the wall or has crossed midcout. Result-indirect free kick from at midcourt anywhere on the line.
7) Three line rule-when the soccer ball is kicked in the air without touching the wall, floor or a player from behind one foul-line to behind the other foul-line. Result, indirect free kick from midcourt anywhere on the line.
8) A team may not score directly on the kick-off.
9) A player may not be standing inside the goalie box, receive the ball and score; however they may run into the goalie box, receive the ball and score. Result, indirect free kick.
10) If the ball gets caught in the side of the net an indirect free kick will be awarded to the defending team.
11) All free kicks are indirect; including hand balls.
12) For tournament play only-In case of a tie, there will be a (2) two minute overtime with the removal of(1)one player from each team beginning with the goalie. Goalies may not return as court players and no subs are allowed during each overtime.
13) Rough play including slide tackling - player will set out for 2 minutes and their team will play one player down for that time period, A repeated offense player will be ejected.
14) Mercy Rule - If a team is up my (5) goals, they must remove (1) player. If the opposing team gets within (4) goals, the team that was up (5) goals may add the approaite number of players.
15) NO FIGHTING - NO FOUL LANGUAGE automatic ejection from the team, building and season!!!
16) No balls other than the Indoor ball, is allowed inside the building.
