Scoreboard Operation Instructions

Mt. Seymour Little League

Instructions for Scoreboard Operation

Starting the Game:

  1. Turn the scoreboard 'on' - this is accomplished by switching the toggle switch that is located above the 'B' in Balls on the scoreboard to the 'right'. We will attempt to have a stick located by the fence under the scoreboard to assist with this - until then it may require some agility and fence climbing.

  2. Turn on the handset (located in the top drawer of the concession) - this is accomplished in two steps:

    1. Activate the battery pack - looking at the handset face-up (i.e. with the buttons facing you) locate the black switch at the bottom of the handset on the black battery pack. Switch this to the left.

    2. Press the purple 'Radio refresh' button on the side of the handset. A very small light on the top of the handset should come on 'red' indicating the handset is 'on'.

You are now good to go.

Ending the Game:

  1. Turn off the handset - this is accomplished in two steps:

    1. Press the white 'Off' button on the side of the handset. The very small red light on the top of the handset should go out.

    2. Turn off the battery pack - looking at the handset face-up (i.e. with the buttons facing you) locate the black switch at the bottom of the handset on the black battery pack. Switch this to the right.

  2. Turn the scoreboard 'off' - this is accomplished by switching the toggle switch that is located above the 'B' in Balls on the scoreboard to the 'left'. This is important - the scoreboard my not work for the next game if this is not done!

  3. Return the handset to the top drawer in the concession.
