After moving to North Vancouver from South Africa in 1992, Deneys
immediately got the feeling that baseball would become part of his future.
That was the year the Blue Jays became the first non-US team to win the
World Series.
Some years later, his son Nicholas starting playing T-Ball and Deneys has
been part of MSLL ever since. So has Nicholas.
When not on the diamond, this owner of a custom wood windows manufacturing
operation enjoys skiing, golfing and hiking. But if he ever catches wind
that there¹s a cricket match taking place within 100 km, he¹ll undoubtedly
be there.
