Welcome to the Mount Sentinel Little League Website!    

OUR MISSION:

The objective of Mount Sentinel Little League shall be to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority through competition, so that they can be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.

OUR VISION:

The vision of Mount Sentinel Little League is to secure its future by enlisting responsible, compassionate, and dedicated volunteers who will always put the needs of the children first.  This vision includes a solid economic structure that will enable Mount Sentinel Little League to continue to strive as a self-sustaining organization that will always be affordable for all those who choose to participate, helping us strive to reach the next level of play all the way to the Little League World Series.

VOLUNTEERS:

It is vital to our success that we have volunteers!  Each new season is an opportunity to bring in new volunteers and rally volunteers from past seasons.  Please lend a helping hand and donate a couple of hours to work concessions, umpire or maintain fields.

Wednesday, June 11
All Star Tryouts

All Star Tryouts will be held Monday, June 16th at Clawson Complex.
 
12 year olds - 5pm on Field 7
11 year olds - 6pm on Field 7
9/10 year olds - 6pm on Field 8
 
Please bring your child's original birth certificate and
3 forms of Proof of Residency to tryouts. 
(see below for qualifying documents) 
 
Draft results will be posted at concessions by 9pm on Monday night! 
 
All Stars is competitive tournament play.  Players may be selected to play different positions than they play in regular season.  There are minimum play rules that apply for tournament play.  This means some players may only play the minimum required at bats and consecutive outs in a game.  Coaches will have full discretion to make this determination.
 
Most coaches will practice daily.
 
Additional All Stars white fees will be $100 per player.  (All Star jackets are an additional expense.)  The white fees cover the league charter, insurance and All Star uniforms. Pictures will be available for an additional fee.  Travel expenses are the responsibility of the player's family.
 
Parents of every player are expected to volunteer at each tournament regardless of location.  (scorekeeping, concessions, field prep, announcing and pitch count)
 
Proof of residency and age verification is required for every player.  We will need to see an original birth certificate for each player.  Once age is verified, a copy will be kept on file. Three proofs of residency are also required for every player.  Following is a list of approved residency documents.  Each player must provide 3 documents all from different catergories. All documents must be dated between Feb 1. 2013 and Feb 1, 2014.
