LOST & FOUND...The lost & found bins are overflowing with bats, mitts, chairs, sweatshirts, bags, etc. Items will be kept until Thursday, May 31 and will be discarded/donated on June 1 to make room for a new batch of lost items that are sure to turn up during playoffs & Family Day. The final batch of items will be discarded promptly by June 19, so do not delay: come get your stuff !!
Playoffs are coming !!
The playoff brackets have been posted in the Handouts section. Be aware that game times are extremely flexible since we often adjust them to accomodate chains playing with consecutive levels at the same time. As they become known, we will fill in the brackets and post them here and on the bulletin board outside the snack bar. Games start June 2 for the North, South, GCL and AA levels.
GERO PARK LITTER PROBLEM...TO ALL MSHYB PLAYERS & FANS -The litter situation at Gero Park has reached an unacceptable level. We kindly request that you pay extra attention to properly disposing of your trash and recyclables, and remind those around you to do the same. Thank you!
BATTING CAGE UPDATE: A few important rules:
-DO NOT walk down the center aisle between the two rows of cages, or duck under the netting. Enter and exit through the openings located along the outside-rear corner of each cage.
-NO FOOD, BEVERAGES, SEEDS OR GUM
-NO METAL CLEATS
-ONLY ADULT PITCHERS ARE PERMITTED !
-A SECOND ADULT, IN ADDITION TO THE ONE PITCHING, MUST ACCOMPANY EACH TEAM TO SUPERVISE THE WAITING PLAYERS WHEN USING CAGES. (This adult does NOT need to be a certified coach.)
SENIOR LEAGUE UPDATE: Reminder: there is absolutely NO PARKING and NO DROPPING OFF at Pingry Field unless you are the game umpire or team manager with a League-issued parking pass. Violators will be ticketed. Excess parked cars present a safety hazard as they restrict ambulance access to the field!!
