BRAZIL-USA CAMP and TOURNAMENT
Overview: Our goal is to provide the most intensive soccer training for competitive soccer players. Participating players will be exposed to the Brazilian soccer style and techniques during training sessions. We emphasize physical training to increase strength and stamina of each individual player as well. Our program is unique since players that participate in our program train at division 1 club and play against the most elite youth players from Rio. We do not train with local academies like most of our competitors do. Players stay and train at division 1 club called Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro. This outstanding youth facility includes soccer fields, futsal courts, air-conditioned dorms, exercise room, cafeteria and more. At the end of the program, players participate in BRAZIL x USA CUP at Fluminense facility. In this elite tournament, players are able to experience how it feels to play against famous elite clubs from Rio de Janeiro and USA during the last 4 days of the trip. Information about 2006 Brazil Tour: Date: July 21-August 1, 2006. The Package includes: - return airfare from Washington, DC to Rio de Janeiro - all coaching and tournament fees - accommodation - local transportation - 4 daily meals - laundry - sightseeing trips (visit to Corcovado Maracana, Rio's beaches...) - tickets to professional games Price for this 12 day package is U$2,555.00 Application Process: Currently, we are still accepting applications for players ages 11 and up for the 2006 Tour. A non-refundable deposit of U$1,000.00 is required at the time of application (deposits will be primarily used to cover payment of airfare). The balance is due no more than 2 months prior to the trip. Supervision: Players are personally supervised by director of this program, Roberto C. da Silva and Julio E. Arjona.They are very well familiar with the country and the Brazilian soccer system. BRAZIL-USA CUP Overview: This program was designed with coordination of Fluminense Footbal Club-Division 1 club in Rio de Janeiro to give teams an international experience of participating in an elite international tournament. Teams from USA and Brazil are invited to participate at this 4 day tournament that takes place at Fluminense FC Youth Training Facility in Xerem, Rio de Janeiro. Coaches, Managers, and Club Representatives, if you would like your team to be part of this International Cup, please read the information below. Information about 2006 BrazilxUSA Cup: Date: July 27-30, 2006 Price: Option B: U$1,300 per player This price includes accommodation at the club's dorm for 4 nights, 4 daily meals, transportation to and from the airport, and tournament fees. Application Process: We are still accepting application for the 2006 Brazil x USA Cup. The tournament is open to teams U11-U18. Each team that wants to register needs to have a minimum of 11 participants. The deadline to submit an application is May 31, 2006.
