Gries Park Gries Park is located on Horton Avenue in Lynbrook between Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway. It's immediately before the Valley Stream border. If you are traveling west on Sunrise Highway you'd make a right onto Horton Avenue.
Grove Park in Garden City Southern State Parkway west to Exit 22N - Meadowbrook Parkway. Take the MP north to exit M1 - Old Country Road. At the end of the exit ramp make a left turn on Old Country Road. Move immediately to your left and make a left turn onto Glen Cove Road. GCR turns into Clinton Street. Take Clinton Street across Stewart Avenue and the LIRR tracks and turn left at the 2nd traffic light which is Chestnut Street. Higbie Center Sunrise Highway east to exit 40, which is Route 231 south. Take 231 south to the John Street exit, which I believe is the 1st exit. At the end of the exit ramp turn right onto John Street. Proceed on John Street to the first traffic light (7-11 on the corner) and turn right onto Higbie Lane. Proceed approximately 3/10 mile to the Higbie Center on the right. It looks like a school building and the fields are in the back. You can also take Sunrise Highway exit 40 and stay on the Service Road and exit at Higbie Lane. From Sunrise Highway the Center is approximately 1.1 miles
Hillside Grade School in New Hyde Park Northern State Parkway west to New Hyde Park Road south. Go to 1st stop sign and make a right. Cross over Union Turnpike and Hillside Avenue. Proceed another few blocks to Maple Street W (I guess that means west). Turn right onto Maple W and proceed approximately 3-4 blocks to the school. Hofstra University Athletic fields Take Hempstead Turnpike west past Nassau Coliseum and 1st over pass. Just before the 2nd over pass turn right into the campus. Go 2 stop signs to the fields.

Icahn Field From Queens: Get on the Triborough Bridge from the Grand Central Parkway. Stay right for the exit to Randall's Island, immediately after the toll plaza. Randall's Island Park is located under the Triborough Bridge in the East River, between Manhattan, the Bronx and Queens. Bridge toll is $4.50 upon entering; there is no charge to leave the Island. This is a turf field.

Field is on right and parking is right after the field. From Lincoln Tunnel or G.W. Bridge: After crossing either one, take NJ Turnpike south and follow above directions.
