Shawn and Ryan would like to thank each girl that came out to the 12U tryout yesterday.  They had some very difficult decisions to make as they thought every girl that tried out looked GREAT!  It was a very stressful night and after much consideration the following girls have been picked for the 2009/2010 Terror season:

Lucas Oil Stadium Super Cross Even February 28th.  Please fill out your liquor licenses and have them sent in ASAP for the Super Cross event.

Please get your ID Cards ASAP so we know those are taken care of.

Our team Christmas party will be on December 13th from 4-?? at the Indoor Diamond!  Remember, $10 gift for one of the other girls that they will play a game with.  The team will be providing pizza and the list is below of who's bringing what.

I have goodie bags made up for each of the girls, not any of their siblings.  I also have games set up for the girls as well.  These games are for them to do things together as a team and get to know each other.

List:  Team: Pizza, Nevins: Chips/Snack, Bex: Cupcakes/Cake, Hadley: Cookies, Hickey: Paper goods.

We will be practicing every Sunday from 5-7 at the Booker T. Washington Center.  Please make as many practices as you can, this will only better us as a team. 

Remember: Pitchers need to pitch at least once a week. Catchers need practice too.

Hitting is very important as well.... if you can get the girls in with a hitting coach, great. It's not feasible for everyone.  If you can get into the Diamond and do some drills on your own, that would even help. Swinging a bat or hitting off a tee at home is good practice too.

GREAT JOB GIRLS!!!!!

This weekend you played in the 12U division of the Gravy Boat and did AWESOME!!!  We as coaches and parents are very proud of you for your effort and courage.  This was a different ball game for us totally and you all hung in there and did your best!

We saw some great hitting, pitching and fielding this weekend.  Even better, we WON TWO GAMES!!!  That is great for a 10U team to beat a 12U team.  There are many improvements we need to make, but we are getting better as a team.

Good job once again, keep working and we'll have no trouble in the 2009 year!
