McCormick Ranch Little League Tryout Information

Age Determination

Any player eligible to participate in MRLL baseball who is league age 9-12 MUST attend one of the tryouts to be able to play in the minor or major division.  Little league age is the age a player will be on April 30, 2010.

THE DRAFT

By signing up for MRLL, you may not choose which team, coach or other players you would like to be teamed with.  Players who are league age 10-12 CANNOT decline to play on a major team.

THE PROCESS

The managers from the minor and major divisions attend the tryouts and evaluate each player.  All players that attend tryout will be selected in a draft.  If a player is drafted to a major team, it is because the manager feels that the player has the ability to play at that level.

CALL-UPS

Sometime the need arises for a major team to call up a player from the minor division during the season.  If this happens, the Player Agent will call the parent of the player.  The manager of any team will not directly contact the player.

2010 TRYOUT SCHEDULE
