Thunder Storm Tournament
The Marlton Thunder is proud to host its Annual Thunder Storm friendly tournament. In its 3rd year this tournament is a round robin format, MVP Medals awarded at each game and a team Trophy awarded to the tournament winner.

Winter Softball Clinics
at our new 16,000 sq. ft. Indoor Training Facility 2080 Springdale Road
Conducted by College Softball Standout Michelle Schlichtig
Michelle received honors in hitting and pitching from both Fordham University
and Rutgers Camden University. In 2006 Michelle took the Rutgers Camden Raptors to
a Division III College World Series, winning the Championship.
Michelle’s 2006 stats are impressive as both a pitcher and hitter:
2006 Pitching Statistics: 32-3 record with a 1.03 era, 17 shutouts and 304 strikeouts
2006 Batting Statistics: .371 batting avg. lead team, 45 RBI’s, 8 home runs, .610 slugging %
Fielding and Hitting Clinic – Starts Sunday, December 27, 2009 and will run every
Sunday for 10 weeks until February 28, 2010
9:00am to 10:00am – Beginning Hitting
10:00am to 11:00am – Beginning Fielding
11:00am to 12:00pm – Intermediate Hitting
12:00pm to 1:00pm – Intermediate Fielding
1:00pm to 2:00pm – Advanced Hitting
2:00pm to 3:00pm – Advanced Fielding

New Rules Regarding Protective Eyewear
Effective August 3rd, all athletes who wear protective eyeglasses while playing in Girls Lacrosse, Basketball, Field Hockey, Soccer, Baseball and Softball shall be required to wear protective eyewear that meets the Frame Standard (ASTM F803) and the Lens Standard (ANSI Z87.1)
Athletes will not be allowed to practice and/or play in non protective eyewear. This is MRC's response to Act C.5:18-1 which requires protective eyewear for certain children participating in sports.
