ABOUT MAU
Location: Bennington, Vermont: Bennington is a community of 15,000 residents nestled between two beautiful mountain ranges. The town is located in the southwestern corner of the state.
Enrollment: 1150 students in grades 9-12. Public regional high school that serves the communities of Bennington, North Bennington, Shaftsbury, Pownal and Woodford.
Faculty: 83 Nickname: Patriots Colors: Red, White and Blue
MAU has not lost to an in-state opponant since 1989, 206 consecutive victories vs. Vermont opponants.

Matt McVay (2008)- 2X VT State Champ. Matt will be wrestling for the Division I United States Navel Academy in 2009/20010. As a result of a non-wrestling related injury, Matt is on delayed entry to Annapolis and is attending Wyoming Seminary this season as a PG student.
Scott Legacy II (2008)- 3X VT State Champ, 3rd in New England in 2008, 6th in 2007. Scott is a freshman and is wrestling for Division III Rhode Island College. He is their starting 133#. Scott placed 3rd @ the Roger Williams Invitational & at the Doug Parker Invitational in Springfield, MA, 4th @ the RIT Invitational in Rochester, NY. Scott finished 5th in the New England Regional Tournament and ended the year with a 30-11 record.
