Here is a little inspiration for the 11-12 Little League Team as they start their voyage to the Little League World Series.
With the success of Moon's teams last year, this year hopes to be another exciting year. Moon Township Little League will be hosting the Section 2 Championships for the Little League 11-12 division. The four sectional winners in the state's Western division will then meet to determine one of the state's finalists. The four Eastern Division section winners will compete for the other championship slot. The East and West champions will then meet in a best 2-of-3 series to determine the state champion.
The Pennsylvania state champion advances to the Mid-Atlantic region tournament in Bristol, Connecticut, with the Mid-Atlantic winner advancing to the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Moon Baseball Raffle Ticket Program
A common question we hear during registration time is:"What do I do with these raffle tickets?" Well here's the answer. Our raffle ticket program gives your child the opportunity to "play for free” by earning your registration fees through the “sale” of the raffle tickets that you received when you registered your child. Any option you chose benefits your player and Moon Little League Baseball.
You can:
1. “Sell” the tickets that are available at registration and keep the donation, OR
2. Complete the ticket yourself, OR
3. Put “M” on the ticket stub and if that ticket is drawn the prize money is kept by the league and used for our ball program, OR
4. Do nothing. There is absolutely no obligation to sell the tickets or even return them. The Program is designed to help you and your children no matter which option you choose!
Bring your completed stubs to the concession stand at Devenzio Field in Moon Park any time before July 4th.
The drawing will take place during the 4th of July All-Star games at Devenzio Field.
