PRE SEASON FRIENDLIES

The Preseason matches finally kicked off with a 2-1 opening defeat from North Region champions Banks O Dee. In a close match Roselea legend Martin Christie made a welcome return to Broomfield Park with his new club. David Craig scored Roselea's goal. An excellent game followed against Highland League Keith which was played at a decent tempo. A dubious Calum Watson penalty seperated the sides. Colin Page damaged his other knee and is awaiting a scan to see the outcome. Fingers crossed that it is OK for the player who only made a comeback at the end of last season. The final match saw several changes due to holidays & injuries and ended in a disappointing 2-1 home defeat to a very well drilled Dundee Violet outfit. Kevin Longmuir scored the goal with Grant Miller and an own goal counting for Violet.
