SHOCK RESIGNATION

The Brechin Vics Managment team of our former player Chris Simpson and Alan Millar have suprisingly resigned from their positions. Chris who took over in the summer of 2008 has done a great job at Nursery Park but work and family commitments seem to be the reason behind the move. Under their managment Brechin Vics have improved both on and off the pitch but they were probably limited to how far they could take things. Ex Arbroath Vics player Derek Lawson takes immediate charge after his recent return from coaching a team in Australia.

FIRST LADIES DINNER

In a new Fundraising venture on Friday Oct 30th, Roselea launched their first ever Ladies Dinner.  Over 100 women attended the evening and had a ball as Ian Thain MC, Lindsay Wood and Janey Godley entertained them in style. The evening was voted an overwhelming success and is likely to be repeated. Table Photos from the night on Flicker:

There is also an addition on the night to Shocking Quotes.

Next up will be our Mens Dinner at the new venue of the Links Hotel on Saturday January 30th 2010. Details will follow.

DJ LAING LEAGUE CUP FINAL (Lochee Utd 0 Roselea 0, Roselea won 4-3 on pens)

The Hangover has now disappeared and it has sunk in that we have won the DJ Laing League Cup. At times we rode our luck but we also had our own chances to win it in normal time. Ross Mcleod capped his 90 minute Man of the Match award with three great penalty saves to set fellow Brechiner 17 year old Jordan Reoch to fire home the winning penalty in only his second game for the club. Praise to Lochee Utd who were as always gracious in defeat as they left to attend their 50th Anniversary Dinner. Now to get some League points on the board!
