2008 UPDATES:

The City of Monticello has allocated $40,000.00 for a commercial grade steel gate fence with 2 foot brick columns every 24 foot across the length of the front of the soccer fields along the ditch at the highway. We hope to see the completion this year before the end of the 2008 MYSA soccer season. 

The City of Monticello has allocated $65,000.00 in their 2008 budget to go towards building a concession stand and restrooms at the soccer fields at the Monticello Sports Complex.  Some of you may already notice on the west end, in the curve of the parking lot ground has been broke where our concession stand and restrooms will be built.  Parents, due to safety purposes please make sure that your children stay away from this area. We will try our best to have this area roped off, so that children will not be able to go around this area. We hoped to have this completed by this season, but a projected date of 3- 6 months is what we are being told before it will be completed.

BRITISH SOCCER CAMP: MYSA will post the dates on the website as soon as we know when the British Soccer Camp will be held in the Summer of 2009. Anyone interested in attending the camp next year that missed out this year, please contact our Camp Coordinator Sarah Haycox at sarahhaycox@yahoo.com.

MYSA RULE BOOK: MYSA Rule Books will be available for the 2008 MYSA Soccer Season. The cost of each book will be $5.00 and all proceeds will go towards the MYSA organization. Rule books can be purchased by any of the board members.

AGE CHANGE: MYSA will start taking 3 year olds in 2009. 

DIVISIONS:

3 Year Old Division will be called U4 in 2009.

4 & 5 Year Old Division will now be called U6.

6 & 7 Year Old Division will now be called U8.

8 & 9 Year Old Division will now be called U10.

10 & 11 Year Old Division will now be called U12.

12-15 Year Old Division will now be called U16.
