Monticello 13 Yr Olds Win Burlington Bash Invitational
The Monticello 13 year old Babe Ruth all stars won the second annual Burlington Bash Invitational Tournament for 13 year olds held this past weekend in Monticello. Monticello defeated Pine Bluff Seabrook 25 to 3 and Warren 7 to 5 on Saturday. The Warren team was made up of 13 through 15 year olds. Monticello will play Hamburg in the 13 year old district Babe Ruth tournament beginning Friday June 27th at 7:00pm in Hamburg.

Monticello 15s Win 2008 Burlington Bash Tournament
The Monticello 15 Yr old Babe Ruth all stars defeated Pine Bluff Seabrooks' 15 Yr old all stars 7 to 3 Sunday afternoon in the championship game of the second annual Burlington Bash Jr Babe Ruth Invitational Tournament. Monticello beat Pine Bluff 8 to 6 on Friday , and then defeated the Monnticello 14Yr olds 7 to 2 on Saturday to reach Sunday's finals. Hamburg finnished third in the tournament.
The Monticello 15yr olds will begin competition in the Babe Ruth district tournament this weekend at Woodlawn. Monticello will play the winner of Hamburg vs Star City at 5:00pm on Saturday.

Monticello 15 Yr Olds Win 2007 Burlington Bash
Monticello defeated Pine Bluff 13 to 12 in the championship game of the first annual Burlington Bash Tournament held last weekend at Burlington Field. It took 10 innings and four hours for Monticello to get the win in a game that saw four lead changes. Colby Berg was the winning pitcher, and Jordan Tilley had a three run homerun for Monticello. Star City finnished third in the tournament.

Pine Bluff Wins 2007 14Yr Old Burlington Bash
Pine Bluff defeated Monticello 8 to 4 in the championship game of the 14Yr Old division of the first annual Burlington Bash Tornament held last weekend in Monticello.
Sunday, April 5
2009 Try Outs Rescheduled
Try outs scheduled for March 31st were rained out, and have been rescheduled for Tuesday April 7th at Burlington Field. 13Yr Olds will try out at 5:30pm and 14-15Yr Olds at 6:00pm. Players who have not registered may do so at these try outs.
NOTE: Current High School baseball players are not eligible to try out, or participate in local league play until their season is over. However these players should register where they can be placed on a team.
