The Mon-Clair League is a men's amateur baseball league played during the summer months in the St. Louis area. In 1966, The St. Clair County League merged with the Monroe County League to form the Mon-Clair Baseball League.

Since that merger, the Mon-Clair League has been recognized as the most powerful men's amateur baseball league in the Midwest. Quality and competition have been Mon-Clair League trademarks throughout the years. The Mon-Clair League is comprised of two divisions with five teams in each division.

The Annual Awards Banquet / Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony was be held on Saturday, November 7th at the Millstadt VFW at 6:00 PM. Hall Of Fame Inductees include players Clay Moehrs of the Waterloo Buds and Kenny Meyer of the Valmeyer Lakers along with John Koerber in the Sponsor Category.

Monroe Division - Mark Mueller - Waterloo Millers - 4-3 / 2.49

St. Clair Division - Adam Hill - Fairview Heights Redbirds - 6-1 / 1.84

ELMER VOELLINGER ROOKIE OF THE YEAR:

Monroe Division - Matt Stuckmeyer - Valmeyer Lakers - .339

St. Clair Division - Brad Dunnigan - Fairview Heights Redbirds .387

WILLIAM MOHR MANAGER OF THE YEAR: Ed Emge - Fairview Heights Redbirds

On behalf of the MonClair League Officials, Managers, Coaches and Players, we express our deepest sympathy to the family of Mel Patton. Mel was the victim of a terrible automobile accident on August 17th. He is charter member of the MCL Hall Of Fame, an outstanding athlete and also past League President. The Valmeyer Mid Summer Classis will never be the same and he will be sorely missed.
