The 17 and Under Indians Roster will consist of 12 returning players from last years team:  Scott Anderson, Ryan Colombo, Andrew Curry, Colby Fitch, LJ Hatch, Michael Hayworth, Jonathan Jones, Jordan Knutson, Marcus McNeace, Kyle Schlatter, Jeff Smugala, and Nathan Winfrey, and 3 new players: Jacob Alexander, Ryan Ralston and Jake Theis.  Welcome back for the returning players and welcome aboard to the 3 new players.  The Indians are looking forward to a season filled with great opportunities and competitive baseball.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CLASS OF 2012, COLLIN WILES, KYLE SCHLATTER AND JACOB ALEXANDER, WHO HAVE ALL COMMITTED TO PLAY BASEBALL NEXT YEAR AT THE COLLEGIATE LEVEL. 

Collin and Kyle will graduate from Blue Valley High School, Overland Park, KS.  Collin has committed to play for Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN and Kyle has committed to play for Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, TN.  Jacob will graduate from Hickman High School, Columbia, MO and has committed to play for the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO.

CONGRATULATIONS TO JORDAN KNUTSON, CLASS OF 2013, WHO HAS VERBALLY COMMITTED TO PLAY BASEBALL, BEGINNING IN THE FALL OF 2013, FOR MISSOURI STATE UNIVERSITY.

The 2012 Summer Season has begun with practices on Saturday evenings, January 7, 2012 through February 25, 2012 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at MNS.  The Indians will be in action June 1-3, 2012 in the Kansas City Area MidAmerica Tournament.  They will then travel to Schaumburg, IL June 7-10, 2012 to play in the 17U/18U Slugfest Collegiate Showcase.  June 14-17, 2012 the Indians will be in Cincinnati, OH participating in the Cincy Flames 17U Tournament of Champions Wood Bat Tournament.  The University of Kansas Showcase will be the next stop for the Indians June 21-24, 2012, and then the MidAmerica Tournaments Kansas State University Showcase June 29-July1, 2012.  The Indians will finish their season in the Atlanta, GA area playing in the PerfectGame 17U World Wood Bat National Championship, July 6-13, 2012.
