Welcome to the home of Cougar Hoops. Use this website to keep up on events during the season. You'll find game schedules, and important notices posted here. Cougar Hoops is a non-competitive league that focuses on the development of players using the game as a "teacher". Parent/coaches supervise the play and give pointers when needed. Scores are kept during the games, but are not recorded for standings. Games are about 1 hour in length.
2009-2010 Schedules are now posted
- Girls play Tuesday nights at 6:30pm and 7:30pm, and Thursdays at 6pm & 7pm
- Boys play Monday and Wednesday nights at 6pm and 7pm
Practices begin the week of December 1, 2009. Regular games begin December 9th.
Note: When the Marple Newtown schools are closed, there will be no Cougar Hoops that evening. For unplanned school closings see KYW's School Closings. (Marple Newtown's code is 454.)
