WHITE EAGLES, LONDON SERBS DIVISION (OUTDOOR) CHAMPS 2000
The London White Eagles won 17 games against only 1 loss and 3 ties in the 2000 season to capture first place in the MMSL first division. London Portuguese finished second. The London Hispanics were the only team to defeat the Eagles this year winning 2:0 on the Eagles home field. Wieslaw Galazka led the team in scoring. N-Sporting and St. Thomas finished 7th and 8th respectively and will be relegated to the 2nd division in 2001.
In Division II, new entrant London Serbs won the division with Real West finishing in second place. Both teams are promoted to the first division for the 2001 season.

LEAGUE SPLIT INTO TWO DIVISIONS
The Middlesex Masters Soccer league has split into two divisions for the 2000 season. Due to the enormous interest shown by the aging soccer community it was necessary to accommodate all interested teams by creating two divisions. Division 1 consists of the premier teams in the League who wish to carry on the competitive aspect of the game of soccer. Division two consists of the teams wishing to play at a more recreational format while building for the possibility of promotion to Division 1. The restructuring also allows for an additional four (4) teams to apply for membership in our League.

1999/2000 MMSL INDOOR FINAL
BITEL LEADS EAGLES TO PLAY-OFF CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Marek Bitel scored five goals to lead the White Eagles to a 9:1 victory over the London Portuguese, capturing the Middlesex Masters Soccer League Indoor Play-off Final.
The White Eagles scored two quick goals in the opening minutes of the first half against the "flat" Portuguese which seemed to be enough to prevent any comeback.
The Portuguese had a tough time trying to penetrate the Eagle "blanket" defense. When the opportunity did arise the Eagles held fast with the goalie Rick Wilbur blocking any shots and the Eagles clearing any rebound quickly. The Portuguese manage some consolation by not being shut out and scoring late in the second half
