Welcome to MMR's Sports and Service WEB site
MMR CYO Sports and Service consists of Boys Baseball, Girls Softball, Girls Volleyball, Co-Ed High School Volleyball, Girls High School Basketball, Boys High School Basketball, Track and Field, Cross Country, Boys and Girls Basketball, Intra-mural Basketball, Football, Co-Ed Soccer, and Cheerleading. Our progam is also committed to performing service projects throughout the season. Children will be asked to perform at least one service project per year. The Athletic Director is Tom Kirk, and can be reached at cyo@mmredeemer.org if you should have any concerns or questions.
All forms that were previously under the link "Special Form and Handouts" have now been seperated into "Coaches Corner", "Parent's Corner" and "Administrative"
After completing a team or individual Service Project, visit the "Parents Corner" or the "Coaches Corner" and download the Service Project completion form.

A special thank you to Lorraine and Dawn, just absolutely fantastic coaches. I am sure every one of their players would agree. We are so fortunate to have them a part of our program.

AAU Regional Cross Country Race
Coach Charlie Stone reported that MMR had about 12 kids run on Saturday November 14th in the AAU Regional race. All did fine. Our top runner was Emma Weber who finished in the top group in her race and medaled. Congratulations to all participants and this concludes the cross country season. But Coach Stone reminds everyone that Track and Field signups will be in just 2 months and practices will begin in March. Hope to see everyone there!!
Varsity Soccer News
The team bowed out of the tournament with a hard fought 1-0 loss to BVM. The Vikings played very well. Coach Moral commented on how proud he was of the kids in conducting themselves and so happy with all our clean, hard effort. He also commented that they truly left it all on the field with no regrets.
Congratulations to the team for a great season!!!!!!!
WINTER SPORTS YOUTH CYO MASS
Thanks to all the coaches, athletes, youth ministry members and families who came out for our Winter Sports Youth/CYO Mass. We had wonderful representation from the girls and boys basketball programs as well as the football team. The liturgical assistance on the part of the youth was an inspiration to all. Thank you for your patience as this was our first attempt at bringing several teams together for Mass.
Mark your calendars now for the Spring Sports Youth/CYO Mass that will be held Sunday March 21 at 9:00 AM.
MANNA ON MAIN STREET
The collection taken during the recent CYO Basketball tryouts was a great success. A total of 327 items were collected, including two turkeys (via gift certificate at Giant stores). A big thank you to all the CYO basketball families who contributed. Also thank you to future CYO participant Michael who helped inventory, count, and pack up the collection to deliver to Manna.

Youth for the Eucharist and the Archdiocesan Office for Youth and Young Adults invites all youth and their families to participate in Eucharistic Adoration and Confession.

CHEERLEADERS WANTED
The MMR Varsity and Junior Varsity Cheerleading teams are seeking 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls to become new squad members. Previous experience is helpful, but not necessary. Dance and/or gymnastic experience and a good attitude are a big plus.
